What are your favorite parts of Christmas time @ Disneyland?

Even though I live in Canada and have far too much of it I love the "snow" in Believe fireworks and the Christmas music. Disney is magic anytime but combine that with the magic of Christmas and you truly have one magical holiday!

I love it at night when all of the decorations are lit up... It seems silly, but I get all teary eyed when I am walking thru mainstreet with my kids... I just love it that time of year!

Not silly at all! Im sure the same thing will happen to me. Im just scared that the weather might cause the fireworks, snow to get cancelled = ( that would be the worst! We are only going for 1 day and if we missed that we would be crushed!

We went to WDW last year during Nov. instead of going to DL, and they do nothing there that compares to DL in the way of Christmas decorations.

The Christmas firework show is my favorite firework show too, but it is always risky due to "winds at elevations high above the park."

In the past, if the fireworks get cancelled because of wind, they've still done the snow. It comes from the boxes on top of some of the light stands and buildings.

I am a total sap about holiday decorations anyway (my favorite activity is to just drive around looking at people's light/decoration displays while listening to holiday music); combine that with the general magic of being at Disneyland and I am just delirious with joy!

This post has gotten me so excited for our trip in two weeks. I am so glad we decided to go during the holiday season (for the first time)!

This may be ridiculous but I have watched the snow in all the years I have done Disneyland. I think I will this season.

My favorites are HMH I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I got a season pass beacause of it, I also love seeing IASW all decked out. I love all the festive lights all over the park but IASW's are the best!

I love the Christmas Carolers. Their outfits are so Dickens like and bring me back to an earlier time. The whole resort in it's holiday finest is the ONLY way I kick off the holiday season.
It also goes without saying that the Candlelight Processional is phenomenal. I used to be a regular church going person and I haven't been in several years. The CP brings me back to the real reason for Christmas and I find it heartwarming to watch.

I love all the lights!!!! I even have white lights up in my work room at home all through the year because like I said, I love lights!!!! Most of all I love the whole feeling of the christmas spirit and being there with my family!! Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it!!

I totally agree!!! I love driving around at christmas and looking at decorations.

I'm also a lover of the lights and decor, ESPECIALLY in NOS!!! It's so gorgeous at night, it takes my breath away.

I'm also a big fan of the lobby of the GCH during the holidays. I love the huge, fantastic Christmas tree, Santa Clause in his big chair with kids sitting on his lap whispering to him what they want for Christmas, and the pianist tinkling holiday songs on the grand piano. It's a splendid time to be there!

Ahhhhhh!!!! I'm Sooooo Excited Just Thinking About All The Cool Christmas Stuff I'll Get To See In 30 Days!!!!! I just have to get through the rest of the fall quarter (which is soooo busy) and off to the happiest and warmest place in the world for me!!! Any One Else Want To Be Excited With Me??? Sorry guys, sometimes I get a little out of control!!!

Wow, I love christmas and I love disney, I can't wait for our december trip. I am trying to get all my christmas shopping done so I am ready to enjoy.

I love holidays at Disneyland, too. Especially since a lot of my favorite Disney movies are holiday-related (Nightmare b4 xmas, Mickey's xmas Carol, etc). and it's wild to see the rides all decked out in holiday spirit.

I love it all!!! I love watching the parade, I love decorating the holiday cookies at the "Round Up". I love sitting at the fireplace in the Grand and having hot coco w/my kids. I cant wait, our trip will be in the middle of December for 3 days and I am more excited then my children!
