I realise that this has probably been done before, but seen as there has been a few people who have been a little disheartened with DLRP at the moment, I thought I would start this thread, so we could maybe bring back a little or a lot of the magic that DLRP has to offer.

So here goes, I love it when it snows down mainstreet at christmas.:tinker:

I love going on BTMRR and going under the lake onto its own island in the middle. A detail that would be great in the American parks.

Oh and I love the dragon under the castle.

oh theres too many reasons why I love DLP

but to start with

I love the fact the hotels are within walking distance- that stroll back along the lake at night is lovely compared to having to fight with shuttles or that long trek back to the car park (ferry or monorail/tram) then the drive back

I love that it is just a short flight away and you can just go for a couple of days whenever you need a disney fix

i love that first view, as u walk through and come out into the light and there is the castle in front of u (even better when there is blue sky too).... just seems like magic, and my heart beats faster.....:lovestruc

I love absolutley everything about it, waking up to Goofy's voice in the morning, the rush to get to breakfast, feeding the ducks with rolls left over from breakfast as we pass the lake, and then feeling the excitement build as we walk through the village and the DLH gets closer and closer, hearing the park music for the first time in the morning and the race to the first ride of the day.

In the evening it's the atmosphere in the village and the nightcap before going to bed knowing we've got another Disney day ahead of us :woohoo:

I love Walts.
I love that the Park is so pretty
I love BTM
I love that you get the characters in the resorts.
I love that it is different to WDW so I get to have two different Disney experences.

oh and the atmosphere and music on Main Street.

I love that the place has so many details, that despite visiting and reading about it numerous times, I am still uncovering layers.

We have the definitive version of almost every e-ticket.

It is American and European at the same time (very European in many ways)

Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show is the most incredible dinner show that I have seen (many around the globe).

I love being able to go upstairs in the castle and look out over Fantasyland

I love the fact that it has the most beautiful hotel in the world and that this hotel is even part of Mainstreet USA! :cloud9:

In one word MAGIC, I love the look on Jade and Joshuas faces, Its the best thing in the world!

Its the sparkle, the butterflies in your stomach, the way it makes you smile...

MAGIC:goodvibes

I love the feeling that you "are in" a fairytale. You walk around for days not knowing whats hit the news, whats going on at home, no hoovering, ironing, school run, work. You are in this different world full of music and magic. Its a wonderful feeling.
The once upon a dream parade for me.. what a key moment every day

apart from the obvious EVERY THING

a few are

when you first arrive on the train with all your bags you are there right at the entrance and you just want to run in not have to drop your bags and check in just start enjoying the magic

like mentioned before every thing is in with walking distance

the child hood memories

great thread

i cant even narrow it down basically its the look on my dds face thats it right there for me. i actually nearly cried the first time she saw the castle and gasped and said wow mommy. she wasnt even two bless. i love how its quaint and beautiful not all glitzy it really helps capture a moment if that makes sense.

i agree with the hotels being walking distance thats great.

I just love it all :goodvibes and I love the fantastic memories it has given me. I loved it when we took ds on his first trip when he was 2 and he was wary of all the characters until our very last day when we had a character breakfast and he then just loved them all and we spent the rest of that day chasing round the park finding as many as we could and I loved dd meeting Ariel in October and watching Ariel as dd sang the little mermaid theme tune to her ... it was a moment I'll cherish forever. :lovestruc

I love the way that even after 16 trips I'm still finding stuff that I haven't seen before!

I love the fact that is a close journey from where I live. I love how all the hotels are close by & are good no matter what rating one you stay in.

I love the feeling I get walking down Main Street:goodvibes

Believe it or not, I too loved the snow, Small World and the fact the hotels were so close.

Oh, and Anettes does takeaway for when you're just too tired.
