Seriously, though, I love the sense of purpose we get when summer ends. Fall and spring are my favorites because theyre the changing seasons. In fall, we pack away the lazy, free-flowing summer lifestyle that has become boring and return to structure, ritual and purpose. Then when spring comes, that structure and purpose has become too restrictive and we welcome the promise of freedom again.


Thankfully fall here is usually still warm, but I don't like the days getting shorter.
