Muppets 3-D is always one of our favorite stops. You can miss a lot if you get to the pre-show late, such as Rizzo the Rat's impersonation of Mickey Mouse. What trivial thing have you noticed about the show or pre-show that most people would miss?

Hi Everyone

I can't wait to see what you all have to say.. I have a question though.. My son has just started to like 3-D. I know that in some 3d things seems to crawl on the floor and things that might be scary.. is there anything in muppet 3-d that might be scary??

I love to walk around during the preshow and look at all the props that are set up. There are quite a few puns such as a net full of jello (annette funicello)

I FINALLY GET IT! it took 2 weeks...but i finally got it! loL!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I got it, i got it, happy dance!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: Oh, um...Love Rizzo's impression of the Mickster. I don't really think there is anything scary...just REALLY FUNNY!

We finally found the key under the doormat our last trip there. DD and I had a great time looking at the boxes in the preshow area, but I can't remember any of them specifically.

There is really nothing scary about it, nothing moving under your feet or anything.

Why do I love it? I grew up with the original muppet tv show on at 7:30 at night and loved it. The muppets are funny and great for the entire family. I think there is a lot of untapped potential with the muppets that Disney could or should harness.

One thing that I have noticed is that alot of people don't turn around and look behind them during the scene where the cannon shoots the theater. There are muppets all over the theater - to the sides, and even behind the audience!

BTW, my DS6 has loved this show since he was 2 and alot of other 3D shows scare him. There are no scary effects like things moving under your feet or dropping from the ceiling (like the spiders in ITTBAB.)

I love it because I love the Muppets! I couldn't wait to see the Muppet Show on tv and saw all of the movies when I was a kid. I was so disappointed when I got a video of the Muppet Movie and my daughter yawned and said, "This is boring, Mom" Yikes!

I like to doors in the corridors leading to the pre-show...There is one door that says...

"Department of Artificial Reality"
but just underneath it is a line that says...

"This is not a door"

:rotfl: :rotfl: It gets me everytime...:rotfl: :rotfl:

We use a lot of the lines from this attraction in our daily life. And now our daughter has picked up on it. You haven't truly lived until your 5 yr old daughter looks you right in the face and says, "Maybe...maybe... maybe BEAN could light the fireworks!"

Come to think of it, our entire conversation at dinner last night consisted strictly of lines from MuppetVision 3-D. "You got a minute and a half!

Great thread!!!

I have to answer "My Dh's laugh"! When I first read the title of the post that is the first thing that popped into my head. When we first saw it, to hear him laugh out loud was great. It is still something we enjoy going to see. Some of the attractions he gets tired of seeing (but not me!).

Good thread!

We also use lines from Muppet Vision 3-D, like "with the added cultural component of . . ., or "We don't have a phone - Well, I'll just rush right out and get one." My DD7 says that if I try to deny her a privilege, she says"Yea, but do I still get my 10 bucks?". Whenever she gets a cold, I ask "Don't ya hate it when your nose runs?"

My DD7 and I use lines all the time, but my wife goes crazy at them:mad:

Instead of just watching the preshow monitors, check out the scrolling marquee under them. It doesn't just have the time before the show starts. I remember seeing some funny things scroll by....but I'm not telling!

The preshow is the best!!! DH and I always make sure that we see the whole preshow everytime.

I like Sam the Eagle's part in this, especially his quote that goes something like "It's a tribute to all countries, but mostly America" and "It's a glorious three-hour finale."

Len - I was about to post the EXACT same response you did. My family loves repeating those lines. Actually, it's "A salute to all nations, but mostly America". And we follow "It's a glorious three-hour finale", with "you have a minute and a half" followed by the short gasp.

I love the "Three Ds" in the pre-show:

"I'm Delilah."
"I'm Dolores."
"Uh, I'm Max. Debbie was sick, so the Union sent me."

Right after you pass through the turnstiles on your way in, you will go under an archway. There is a big chunk missing from the very top of the arch and the words "You must be shorter than this to enter" (or something similar - the meaning's the same) with an arrow pointing to the dent. Hilarious.
