Last year we did DC, SW, AQ for a few days. We thought we would need 2 days at SW, but never returned after the first day.
We LOVED DC and had a lot of fun at AQ. Returning to DVC villa in Sept., and everyone wants to return to DC even more than WDW! That would mean lots of days of availability at AQ and SW, and I'm wondering if its a good idea...We will also not have a rental car.
At SW we loved the whale show, Atlantis was scary- crazy coasters- no thanks. Did we miss some things there??

Well, everyone who frequents these boards knows that SeaWorld is one of my favourite parks. So here's a list of what I love about it:

The shows......One Ocean, Blue Horizons, Clyde & SeaMore, and Pets Ahoy are all awesome.

The rides......my boys love Manta (they say its the best coaster, anywhere, hands down) and Kraken, Journey to Atlantis, the views from SkyTower, Turtle Trek, Wild Arctic.

Quick Queue.....front of the line passes. No waiting. Awesome.

The all-day dining.....unlimited food, all day long, for a fair price. Lots of different locations to choose from, tons of great entrée choices, and available from breakfast to close.

The exhibits......love the aquariums, the flamingos, the shark exhibit, and all the others I haven't listed.....love them all!

The animal feedings. Because I'm just a big kid inside.

The relaxed pace. Not having to micro-manage your entire day 6 months before you leave on vacation. :thumbsup2

And there's the little extras I haven't mentioned......Dine With Shamu. The games area where you can actually WIN a prize. The friendly staff.

Even after multiple visits, we could easily fill two days at SeaWorld.

I like the fact that there is no planning for SW. The AP are very affordable for our family of 9. I like being able to go to the park and take my time. I have always been fascinated with dolphins and orca whales so I like going and learning new things. My kids love animals. My ODS is going to be over the moon thrilled when the penguins are back. He ask constantly about them. He kept the park map and every night before bed ask penguins?. :) I like their all day dining plan it really saves us money on food. And the fact that you can use the souvenier mugs over and over for over a yr is a good thing. I like all the stuff the others parks don't offer. Manta is awesome. Its been yrs since I rode kraken and now that I know its floorless I will have to give it another try. That will have to wait til after baby is born though.

The shows are what made it for me. I've only been once but I was devastated that we only had 1 day there. This trip I'll be going to Discovery Cove as well so I plan on at least 2 days at Sea World, if not more.

I enjoyed every single one of the shows and found it a really relaxing park.

Maybe we need to give it another chance. We wouldn't do the coasters- I think the only ride we did was Atlantis....
We were SO excited to go there- my son had just done a year-long program at our local aquarium and LOVES everything from the sea. We were there on a very hot day, and after waiting in line to get out of the heat and eat something ( after waiting 30+minutes with no end in sight) we ended up grabbing hotdogs near the whale stadium.
The line for the Skytower was really long, too. Never saw turtle anything or Pet show...
It seemed really spread out to us- not really crowded until we tried to eat- but when we checked the map it was a huge hike to whatever the next show was, so we left to go swimming...
Hmmm...

When we do SW we do the first show by the entrance Blue Horizons. After the show we decide which one is next and as we had to that one we do the exhibits in that area. And so on. SW even though you can do it in one day if you really want to its best to do 2 days. That way you can enjoy your time and really get to see everything and take your time.
