What do you leave in your stroller at the parks?

I only carry essentials/valuables with us in line and leave a tote bag in the stroller, secured to it with a bike lock. That bag holds extra diapers/wipes (well, did when we had kids in diapers), extra sunscreen, extra clothes, hand sanitizer, etc. Packaged snacks are in a zipper lunch box inside the tote bag - never had an issue with critters by doing that. All replaceable things, but I did bike lock it to the stroller just so someone couldn’t easily swipe it.

Once, our rain cover was stolen off our stroller during a downpour while we were in the Epcot character spot, though. There is no way it blew off - it was a snap on cover that was securely attached when we went in, plus it was blocked from the wind in the location it was parked. Someone swiped it. That was really annoying. Rain covers are apparently a hot commodity during a downpour to those who didn’t think to bring one :(

We left our wet ponchos, rain cover, and obnoxiously large balloon on the stroller along with snacks, drinks and diaper bag. We took a small backpack with us that contained dry ponchos, battery charger, medication, and any valuables (like ID).

The balloon was great for helping us locate the stroller in a sea of strollers. Especially if a CM moves it.
We were planning on getting him a balloon!

Wow that’s rude if someone really did take the rain cover. I don’t understand people sometimes. The bike lock is a good idea! We have one so maybe we’ll bring it

We bring a small bike lock for the bottom wheel *if* we know we’re ditching the stroller for more than an hour (because CMs like to move the strollers!) like at dinner reservations and especially when it gets dark outside. It’s so easy to accidentally grab the wrong stroller if you are renting from third party sources and they all look the same!

I also bring a thin cotton blanket and throw it over our stuff to make it out of sight out of mind! Sometimes kids grab sippys that aren’t there’s or people are opportunists with fans/cute clips. So I just cover them up!

my SIL brings a rain cover (the kind that’s really inclusive and Zips up!) and uses that even when it’s not raining to keep her stuff safe inside the stroller. I wish I could find one for my double stroller!

Maybe we’ll just cover the stroller with the rain cover or net every time we leave. That might make someone else think twice before digging around but we won’t leave snacks in sight

I guess we’ll either put his cups in the bag or underneath the stroller
2 legged maybe but not 4 legged as they go under and I have seen them do it

keep looking but has been awhile but at one time I did have a double one. covering up does stop most 2 legged but have seen the 4 legged ones go up under covers. I have had more trouble with them than 2 legged spent about an hour one day just watching one go from stroller to stroller in parking area. cant not say it was licking the sippy cups but did appear to be

We have a Baby Jogger City Select for our two little girls. I have plenty of experience in a variety of different situations regarding the use of strollers in the parks.

When we first got the CS, my wife was super afraid of it just "walking off". As someone stated before, you always hear these themepark horror stories (majority not at Disney) regarding people stealing items or even the whole stroller. So I bought a lock off amazon that another DIS Vet recommended.

It is sort of like a bike lock. At Disney you CAN NOT lock your stroller to any objects but you CAN lock the wheels together. So Megan would have me lock the back two wheels together. CM's can still move the stroller if needed - they just have to lift up the back and use the front wheels. She thought this was a good enough deterrent. We used that for about the first year we had the CS and stopped after that. We grew more comfortable at Disney and nothing bad has happened to us or the stroller in the 4 years we have had it now.

As for actually leaving items in the stroller. When we only had one kiddo, we would take everything with us. The Diaper Bag, Fans, Toys, Gift Shop Purchases... EVERYTHING. I never felt it was necessary, but it made Megan feel better so I was happy to do that. That gradually tapered off too. Soon we left the toys and then the diaper bag, and now we leave everything. We still do move stuff to the "inside" of the stroller. Whether that's the very bottom of in the middle seat. We always pull the sun shades down too.

Overall, after many years of use and never a bad thing happening to us - I can say that we are pretty comfortable leaving stuff in the stroller. I will say though, I think someone posted earlier about leaving their wallet in the stroller? Don't do that. That goes in your pocket 😂

Lol yeah I wouldn’t be leaving a wallet or purse in the stroller!

We leave everything... but of course there is nothing but snacks and a diaper bag stuff, I never leave anything that I would be upset to loose.
I see people that leave expensive ear headbands and disney parks store bags in the bottom... not sure I would do that...
I read there is also people that take expensive strollers from the parks and sell them on CL so I always kept that in mind as well.

I wouldn’t say our stroller is expensive. We have the Chico bravo. I wouldn’t leave gift shop purchases in the bottom. My son is on a special formula (not sure if he’ll still be on it in May) but that’s something that would be in the diaper bag so we probably won’t leave that in the stroller. The good thing is we don’t plan to ride much of anything so we won’t have to worry too much about this

is the special formula powder? if so look for a container to carry just the amount you need for the day maybe a little more and leave rest at your resort. also instead of diaper bag look at having a backpack for this trip. if you wear in front of you is a lot easier when doing any of the rides. another plus it is easier to carry when taking your son in for diaper changes as it leaves a hand free to open doors

We leave anything that we have with us. If someone steals my backpack so be it. They get my kids spare clothes, crayons, a cell phone charger, ponchos, and a usb charger. We will also leave our park purchases for the day in the Disney shopping bags. Usually it is not very expensive stuff. I wouldn't leave a cell phone or wallet, but those are easily carried with us.

Yes it’s a powder formula. It’s neocate but he may switch to neocate jr at 1. We just today started trialing dairy with him so hopefully he won’t need neocate at all by then.

Our diaper bag is actually a backpack style.

We had our stroller stolen at an apple orchard a few years ago. With the newest baby we bought that same lock and plan on using it when we go to WDW. It's worked great so far and I do like you said with locking it through two wheels and the frame. Never would have thought our stroller would be stolen at an apple orchard but you never know, better to be safe than sorry.

I have used that one in my daycare years. have not seen in years but has been awhile since I looked but try and find something like a weekly pill box that is for formula so you only have to carry enough powder for the days bottles you need. that way you dont take a chance on something happening to whole container.
