I never hear much about the Plaza Restaurant--I checked out the menu, cheap by Disney standards. Has anyone eaten there? Let me know your good and bad experiences, please!

Thanks!

Good burgers and great shakes. Don't expect gourmet and you'll be quite happy!

No compairing the two, the Plaza is MUCH better!

I love the food there and service has always been good, but the last 2 times we ate there it was very noisy. Hard to hold a decent conversation.

yep, we have always liked the burgers, sandwiches, and ice cream we've gotten there.

We ate there in September of 2003, at the time we were on the Silver Plan (simular to MMY Dining Plan) if you are on that, I think you have plenty of other choices to get more bang for your buck. On that same trip we also ate at LTT, CP and Tony's I would recommend any of those over the Plaza for sit down.

mmm... Better than counter, maybe. But that isn't saying much.
I ate there in January and was turned off by a grisley hamburger. Never had a desire to return since.

Much better then counter! I found this little gem last year and returned in March for lunch. I would compare it to an old fashioned ice cream parlor. Great burgers, sandwiches, malteds and the like. Most of the other restaurants serve a supper type lunch which is too filling most days, at least for my family. I highly recommend this place for a simple but not Burger King lunch.

Better than counter - burgers, BLTS, clubs, shakes, ice cream etc. LTT is my favorite sit down in MK, but I love the Plaza and believe it or not Columbia Harbor House in MK.

We had a great club sandwich that came with german potato salad and ice cream sundaes. My aunt also enjoyed the soup.

To those who have been to both, how does it compare to Beaches 'n Cream? They sound similar.

They have good reubens and pretty good cheese steaks. The food and atmosphere are much better than counter service.

The Plaza is a little sophisticated but certainly not stuffy. We always enjoy a cool and relaxing lunch there away from the crowds.
They have good turkey clubs with a multi-grain bread and German potato salad. Good philly cheesesteak, good salads and the kids like the mini hot dog & mini hamburger combo with fries.

Beaches and Cream is themed as an old fashioned soda shop, very good burgers, fries, onion rings. Great place for an old fashioned vanilla Coke.
Very good ice cream offerings for desert and if there are enough of you with big appetites try the "Kitchen Sink".
We watched for girls (probably 17-20 yrs old) try to finish it unsuccessfully last trip.
Great fun!

You know, I have the best memory of eating lunch here as a 6 year old. I had some sort of sandwich and then a wonderful ice cream. I remember palms and sun dappling through them. Funny what a child will remeber. I think I will have to go back this trip...

We love the Plaza. They have the best German potato salad and a really good turkey club. My kids like the two mini burger kids meal.

The Plaza is one of our favorites!!! Great reubens and milkshakes!!!!!
