I was just wondering, because apparently it is "taking VMK's place." Read below:

...however, profits on WDW's ticket sales and confections have gone up since the arrival of VMK. The game is run mostly by interns with a major in Computer Sciences, who dress their characters up as old-fashioned Disneyland Cast Members and can be identified by their fluorescent red Ear Hats. One of the developers of the game, known affectionately by the population of the kingdom as "Yavn," has given us insight on the new situation of his game.
"Disney Interactive and I take our players' feelings into consideration when we make choices like these," he stated in an e-mail, "and have decided that it's best that we move on to projects that have a larger room for expansion. Because fun (and not money!) is the greatest concern of mine, I believe that it is better to move to a more video-game like realm. Why? Our target age is more interested by 'stat-building' and roleplaying games like the hugely popular game Runescape. With the magic of Disney and Pirates of the Caribbean, I believe that we can strike a balance between stat-building and Disney roleplaying in order to attract Disney and video-game fans alike. This was something that VMK failed to do."
The mechanics of VMK, he says, produces complaints about it not being more than a glorified chat room. The time and money produced to make a game would probably be better spent in Pirates of the Caribbean Online: the fee to play paired with the prominence of the main characters from the movie brings in both revenue and advertising. It's killing two birds with one stone for Disney Interactive.
