I usually get my cats some toys. However, they seem to like the wrapping paper better. :teeth:

DD (7) sent santa an email requesting gifts for the animals.

Lab gets a pull tou
blue heeler gets a new collar
rabbit get a leash

My dogs and the cat each have a stocking and they will be full this year. Each dog is getting a new bed, toys, balls, Dingoes and blankets. The cat will get lots of kitty treats since she has no use for toys. Toys are beneath her! :teeth:

I was thinking about this today whne I was out shopping. In the book store I saw a book that said, "French Cats Don't Get Fat" it was a hilarious parody on the real book. It was with cats and everything. I was thinking about getting it. I thought some of you might like the idea.

Thats a cute idea about the book, Adorable.
I am getting my new black lab a giant stocking filled with toys and snacks. That should make him a happy boy.

My wonder Scotties are getting lots of new stuffed toys, treats, and cute cordoroy coats. Mac loves to open presents and is so much fun to watch. Tipper, however, is afraid of paper! Gift bags for the Tip.

We usually get my dog special christmas treats, but we haven't had time to pick up any this year! My little Belle might have to get her present late this year :(

This year Rudy will be the proud owner of Cat treats, a new Scratching Post, and a new pillow and blanket for his bed. :rotfl:

Can't tell ya. Reilly is sitting here on my lap staring at the monitor. Don't trust the little bugger. :)

They are all wrapped and ready for them to open though. They learned how to open presents from their sister Lacy who passed away last year. :( She absolutely loved tearing giftwrap off of presents, even more than the presents inside. She would go from one gift to the other, ripping the paper off and the other dogs would follow behind picking up the presents.

I bought my favorite little puppy a Mickey head shaped squeaky toy from Downtown Disney - cant wait to see his "Dads" face!

Dash has a stocking with chew bones inside and a squeeky toy (he loves squeeky toys!) and under the tree a rope toy and more chew toys. He actually stuck his nose into the pile under the tree the other day and came out with a package with his name on it, such a smart boy he is :rotfl:

He also has already gotten a few presents, the day-care kids came to the door the other morning with a large stocking filled with chew toys. They were so thrilled to give him toys and he of course loved receiving them! They also got him a little bag that is still tucked under the tree.

DD20 came home yesterday from college and poor Dash was a little bummed that she was only carrying 3 wrapped packages, he feels bad for us because he is sure one is for him which means she missed one of us. :rotfl: I'm guessing she will be going out today to pick something up for him :teeth:

The present I really wanted to get for him my DH said no to. We stopped at the pet store the other night to shop and found a tiny female version of Dash, same black markings on a white body. She was too sweet and we decided we would name her Belle if we could bring her home :goodvibes

Our 2 dogs are each getting a new toy and a huge candy cane bone under the tree and then they are each getting a new ball and a couple other treats in their stockings.

BJ's had these really cute bags with toys in it for dogs. Its all red and is plastic and has about 10 things in there. The bag is actually bigger than our 5 lb. yorkie "Bundles" but we got him one anyway.

Are you kidding? Every day is Christmas around here with Shiloh--he is spoiled year round!

My boys usually get a stocking full and then a few things under the tree. Pig ears, bully sticks, marrow bones, rawhide candy canes, new tshirts, squeaky toys, baked goodies, etc.

This year no one is getting anything but I did bake them some dog brownies while doing other baking yesterday - cheap and easy treat =)

My kitty got some stuffed toys and some little balls to roll around. He loves toys, he will run around with them in his mouth and bring them to us when he wants to play fetch. He did open up one of his presents early though! My boyfriend came home from running and the cat greeted him with a stuffed stocking in his mouth!! He was caught red handed.

This year Dot got a new collar, two new chew/tug toys and a kong ball to replace the one we couldn't find (of course we found it yesterday!).
She opened her 'stocking' today :) LOL.

My DS and girl brought her a plastic squeeky toy which she promptly chewed apart into little tiny pieces.
(she's 2 1/2 years old- think she'd be past that chewing stage!)
