We are going to try Bluezoo for this first time and the menu looks great! What have you loved there? Also, do they still have butter poached lobster? I have read about in in older posts while researching but I don't see it listed on the current menu. Thank you!

I don't think they currently have butter poached lobster, but I LOVE their 2 lb. fried lobster Cantonese. It is very sweet, however, and works best as a shared plate between 2-3. Their tuna tartare is one of the best around and their chilled seafood/raw bar platter is great. While I usually get fish, I had a fantastic steak there, too. I can't recall ever being disappointed with anything I have eaten at bluezoo. They seem to be pretty consistent, esp. compared to the DDP restaurants.

Great! Thank you... too bad about the butter poached lobster but maybe me and my husband will split the Cantonese lobster as a small plate like you said!

I ate an order by myself once and it was too much of a good thing...much better if shared. Also, If you like cocktails, bluezoo has some of the best in WDW. Excellent wine list, too, with a decent selection of half bottles across a wide price range.

The excellence of the Swan/Dolphin restaurants are a big part of what "liberated" me from the Dining Plan.

Enjoy your dinner at bluezoo and share your impressions with us!

Another vote for the Cantonese lobster - it's awesome! My wife on the other hand raves about the miso glazed mero - says it's just about the best fish she's ever had.

We love BlueZoo. It's our favorite at Disney. Capa is close.

The 'Cantonese-style' Lobster is on their menu, but the 'Butter-Poached' was never on the menu. If your Server/Waiter does not mention the butter-poached, just ask. In other words, butter-poached is always available, just not printed on the menu.

Let's walk through a meal here:
-- Sides - Tempura-battered string beans with truffle aioli. I prefer to eat these along with a cocktail, not the meal, while my wife & I strategize our ordering.

-- The Bread basket comes with a delicious fennel-butter.

-- Appetizers - my wife is partial to the avocado puree that accompanies the Shrimp Cocktail. I'm more into the 'nitro' tuna that comes 'smoking' to the table, or maybe the Scallop & Short Rib. The crispy ribs are yummy, but the portion size can be lacking (regardless, my kid will be eating these in a few weeks). A cold-seafood tower with clams, oysters, etc., is also a treat for us.

-- Entrees - no place at Disney offers more whole fish options - deboned table-side of you like. We also get butter-poached lobster. We've also enjoyed seasonal specialties like soft-shell crabs.

Wow! Thank you so much for all the great info! Everything sounds amazing... I simply cannot wait!

thinking of stopping in here to try the happy hour menu at the lounge....

raw bar selection platter for both of us and miso glazed mero for me and either the cantonese lobster or dancing fish/simply fish for the wife depending of what is offered. Side of Lobster mac n cheese and we split the warm chocolate molten banana molten cake.

Miso Glazed Mero - Hawaiian sea bass, shiitake-ginger rice, black garlic, sticky soy! It was to die for!
