What do you find worthwhile at Sam's Club?

I'll add my list as we are SAMAHOLOICS...

Eggs in the 5 dzn box
Milk
vinegar
baking soda
dog food
cat litter
ketchup
mustard
A1
salsa
some meat
pizza
cold & pain meds
coffee
non-dairy cremer (member's mark brand tastes way better than coffee mate)
hummus (their brand is wonderful)
wine
jeans for DH's work

There is much more but I can't think of it. Everything mentioned above is always cheaper than the grocery store. Sometimes the packaging is more for a commercial kitchen (like ketchup) but we just put those items into our own container.

There is only 2 of us, but we buy alot from Sam's.

Gas
Cat food (canned)
Dog food (canned)
laundry detergent (now that I have had to buy a new washer and it uses HE detergent)
Swiffer supplies
dish soap
crackers
meats
Different frozen foods
some canned food
canned salmon
tea bags
ziploc bags (gallon, quart, and sandwich)
some sodas
allergy pills (generic benadryl)
deodorant
DVD's/Blurays
Wii games
books
Most electronics
film develpment

There are probably alot more items I could add. I find paper products (TP, paper towels, and paper plates)to be a little more reasonable at Walmart or Target.

We have bought a laptop computer and my grandmother bought her mattresses there one time. We have bought tires there, but I don't always recommend that.

Member's Mark (Sam's brand) diapers. They are the best and hold way more than pampers. Too bad I didn't know this with my first kid. :)

Muffins; my teen son lives for those muffins.
Milk; we go through 5 gallons a week
Orange juice (the good stuff is $1 cheaper per gallon)
Chips
Pork
Frozen white-meat chicken
Ground meat
Freezer bags
School uniform polos
Trash bags
Cat litter
Vitamins
Eyeglasses (I know mail order is cheaper, but when I need frames I want to try them on.)
Bakery cakes.

We also really like the frozen London Broil roast when they have it. It's a great easy meal (we don't eat it too often, though; it's a bit high in salt.)

Also, Sam's is great for a quick cheap lunch. A long hot dog and a quart soft drink for $1.88? Who can beat that?

another vote for the meat! sam's club has BEAUTIFUL meat, and if what you want isn't out, they'll cut it fresh for you, just like a regular grocery store! LOVE it!

i also buy the following, because it's all much cheaper than my local grocery store:
member's mark TP (same quality as the charmin, at a much lower price)
lance crackers for DH's lunch
double bubble bubble gum bucket (DH takes a pocketful to work each day)
splenda
mixed nuts (much larger can)
atkins bars (not too much cheaper than the store, but i love the variety pack)
100 calorie packs for DD's school snack or lunch
dawn dishwashing liquid multipack
plastic spoons for DD's school lunches and breakfasts
ziploc bags in various sizes
dog food
oscar mayer turkey lunch meat (a double pack is same price as 1 from the grocery store)
bacon
cereal
clorox wipes
some spices (some are cheaper at aldi, although the package is smaller)
always pads
multi-vitamins
calcium pills
edge shave gel (3..maybe 4 pack, don't recall)
crest pro-health toothpaste (4 pack)

our nearest sam's is well over an hour away, so we only go once every couple of months. the property next to our new super wal-mart is going up for sale at the end of this month, so i'm hoping the e-mail i sent to sam's club about it will light a fire under them to build nearby.

I love to get our contacts from them. Call by phone and they have them in a few days. I bought my dining table and foyer chest from there.

The white cake with buttercream frosting and the rotisserie chicken are excellent. Best tasting in town.

The paper things and detergents are more at our Sam's then if I buy on sale elsewhere.
Good buys are:
gas
rotisserie chicken
bottled water
muffins
veggie & fruit trays

There's a lot of good suggestions on this thread. I'll add a few.

Jeans- we have bought Calvin Klein and Nautica jeans for $20 a piece. Actually I buy a lot of DHs clothes there- Ralph Lauren shirts for $10-15 and Savanne dress pants for $20.

DVDs/Blu-Rays- these are usually $2-$5 cheaper than Walmart.

Bread- sold in packs or 2 for about $3.

Fresh cheeses- like blue cheese and parmasen.

Meat and Milk is cheaper than supermarkets. Wrapped in freezer paper and put in a ziploc bag it keeps for a long time.

Bananas are 3lbs. for about $1.50

Salad mix is also a good buy.

Hope this is helpful.:goodvibes

We buy their plastic silverwear (the sturdy ones) and paper plates. I also buy kleenex and tp there.

As far as food goes.
There milk is usually cheaper. The snacks/chips are usually cheaper too.
We also buy olive oil, canola oil, potstickers (yum). They have also had good sales on chicken breasts recently (not the frozen ones). I think those chickens were relatives of Dolly Parton though they were so big....

Unfortunately milk here in PA is regulated by the state so not any cheaper there than in the grocery store for us.

Member's Mark (Sam's brand) diapers. They are the best and hold way more than pampers. Too bad I didn't know this with my first kid. :)

We use to love their diapers as well until they changed them and now the tabs rip off way to easy. Maybe it is a regional thing though. It is possible they use more than one manufacturer. Either that or they changed back again. We have not bought diapers in about a year. Same with the wipes they use to be just as good as huggies but now they have way too much soap in them. So much that you need to clean the soap off with a napkin thus defeating the purpose of the wipes to begin with.

I have a question-My dad used to get huge bags of rice crackers from Sam's a couple of years ago and I went there today and couldn't find them. Anyone know if they still have them?

we always get the parmesan crusted talapia, and anytime we have a cookout, we get their hamburger patties. They are nice thick patties and everyone loves their burgers!

We usually get deodorant, laundry detergent, and snacks for the kids lunches. Going there tomorrow to get a birthday cake, and a big pack of hamburger buns...but I'm sure I will leave with more.
