What do you 'do'??

I'm currently sort of in an early retirement. :goodvibes

DH travels so much so I take care of everything at home, the yard, the money, the cars and the pet. Recently, I've had to become more active in my elderly parents doings also so there's some driving back and forth involved there.

I still have time in there to enjoy myself. :goodvibes Glad not to working at the stressful leadership job(s) I held for 20+ years. Finally taking care of myself emotionally & physically.

Never in a million years would I have guessed that being a wife/homemaker(don't know what to call myself) would make me happy. Or at least happier than what I used to be. Perhaps its just the right time.

Still haven't figured out what I want to be next.

WOW!! We're such a diverse group, aren't we??

My DH and I own John L. Scott Westwood Real Estate and I do marketing and advertising for the company.
I also do internet marketing, blogging and tweeting for a local firm and for a couple of celebs. It fills the time and helps with bills while the market is a bit slower :)

I am a paralegal at an Estate Planning law firm. I love it. I work with great people, great pay, other than weekends we're closed at least 30 days a year (that I get paid for), good paid vacation policy, don't have to go to court, and I basically get to sit in my little cubicle and process documents all day in peace and quiet :goodvibes. Before this I was a bank teller for 8 years and I hope to never be again. I'm over face-to-face customer service jobs.

Financial Consultant for a large disability insurance company. Yes I'm a numbers geek and I love it.

Check my signature... I don't work for the man... I AM the man.

High school math teacher working on my masters in school counseling. The job works out really great at times like this-I'm home paid for 9 wks of summer with my new little one!

I work in the Admission Office of a private college as the front desk/visit coordinator (I set up visits for prospective students).

I work part-time as a real estate assistant to 2 real estate agents. Things are actually pretty good right now, alot busier than some people in the business. And luckily for me, when one of the agents is REALLY busy, the other is usually a little slower. I work about 15-20 hours a week.

I own and operate a dairy farm with my husband. I don't like it much but DH was "born" into it and won't consider anything else.

I work as an administrative assistant for the bar association. I like it :)
