I bought a new liteweight stoller that has detachable parent and child trays. We will be gate checking the stroller with Delta Song, and I don't want the trays to fall off and get lost by the airlines. I'm not sure if they will fit in my carryon (probably not). I guess I could bring an extra carryon bag for them, or maybe just carry them separately. What does everyone else do?

I'm a flight attendant for Southwest. Most people just leave it attached but you could always just detach it in the jetway, right before you get on the plane and then carry it on with you. Just stick it in the overhead bin.

As an airline employee, PLEASE remove and pack in checked bags or carry-on. We have about 5 of these in our station that have been lost in cargo bins and we are a small station. I imagine Orlando must have many more. Thanks!!
:)

I take it off and stuff it in the storage bin in the bottom and then bungee the stroller closed.

I always take mine off as it's the one piece I don't want scratched. I eith put it underneath before folding or throw it in the carry-on bin under my bag,
