Very personal question.. so I understand if no one wants to share!! But basically asking... do you keep it with you, money belt or simular or use hotel safe? I am staying at sante fe... I think I heard you can hand thing in to be put in safe... but would you consider this safe?? Just not sure what to do with passports when away!

I use my Identity Card and it is always in my pocket so i dont change my habit when abroad.
Brian left his passport in his suitcase in the Hotel room but dont think it was locked.
We are naive or what lol

We always leave ours in the room safe.

I'm obviously far too trustworthy ours get left in an unlocked suitcase, but I have been known to just leave them in a drawer in the room or cabin. :scared1:

we tend to leave ours in our suitcase in the hotel apart from the time we left them on our rucksack on the pushchair outside IASW :scared1: I always take a photocopy too and have the originals in one place and the photocopy in another.

well last time my mum bought us all what are they called.... bum bags?:rotfl: ok they were thin ones that you wouldn't notice!! Actually were really good and we stashed all the money and passports in them between us!!:rotfl:

yes... i have bought those invisable bum bag things too... fits all four passports.... look how unfaithfull i am!! haha... I couldnt leave them in room...:scared1: :scared1: ... haha... I do like to worry! haha... so yes they will prob be attached to me the whole time!! Just wondering how the safes are at sante fe... does the room have a camera in etc??

I carry a shoulder bag type thing which I sling across my body and the passports & train tickets all go in there. We feel a bit nervous leaving them in the hotel room, even if we lock the suitcases.

We leave ours in the safe at the hotel, together with out train tickets and cash. We never carry all our Euros with us while in the park , we just take what we need each day from the safe in the morning.

We hide them.... :goodvibes

Me too, I wish there was room safes though. It is more sensible to put your valuables in the safe, as your insurance could be invalidated if they are stolen and you have not put them in the hotel safe.

Some of the hotels do have room safes, I know the HNY does so I would assume the DLH does too

The hotels that do not have safes in the rooms have them at reception.
