What do you do with your Easter eggs?

That is, after they're all colored, and it's time to eat them?

I like mine deviled. I use chopped parsley, horseradish, mayonnaise, and vinegar to make the stuffing with some. In others, I use mayonnaise, relish, and paprika.

What do you make with your Easter eggs? Or do you eat 'em straight up?

I make deviled eggs and/or egg salad with them.

Lori, the eggs should be okay to eat as long as you don't leave them at room temperature longer than 2 hours. I keep mine in the refrigerator.

If you keep your coloured eggs in the refrigerator, you don't get to enjoy them.

I used to keep them out for a long time and then throw them away.


Actually I have some still from a lot, a lot of years ago. I have them displayed in a large crystal vase.

They will keep for ever I think, just be careful you don't crack them

Send them to the Fire Station with my husband . What happens after they get there is unknown to me . I like it that way

Egg salad. Yummm. Last year my kids didn't color any eggs, so I didn't get any egg salad. I just suggested to my wife that the kids might want to color eggs this year. More like I begged her.

Once an egg is colored and decorated, it is no longer a food item, IMHO. If I want egg salad or deviled eggs, I will cook eggs for it. But to eat an egg that was brought by a BUNNY? Never!

Well... yes, I suppose that's true. Although, part of the fun for me is the whole process of coloring the eggs. I usually display them for a short while on a table, take pictures, and then whisk them off into the refrigerator for consumption later. I usually rope DH into the process, too.

I guess we're a little weird in doing this 'cause we don't have any kids. I just like to dye eggs.

LOL. But but... it must be getting late, I am getting silly.

We eat them every which way. I love eggs and so does everyone else around here. We color them with great attention to detail. Then, after a quick photo shoot, they go in the fridge.
