What do you do with the pictures you take?

Mark you are a better man than I am. I am getting ready to go through my collection and purge purge purge. Something to do on a hot summer day!

Traditional scrapping or digi scrapping? What is it that you didn't like? If you did traditional, maybe give digi a try. I scrap (digi) the pics that I keep looking at over and over and the others kind of are on their own, lol.

It was traditional scrapbooking. It would take me forever to do one page. Maybe I should try digital now.

I create a DVD slideshow, complete with disney music and tons of fun transitions :-) That way I can share with my family and friends in an entertaining way. I LOVE making them...they are so much fun!

I delete a lot of them, some I post to Smugmug, very few to Facebook, a few I've printed and given as gifts, and some get posted here, but most of them sit on my laptop. I did make a few of them into t-shirts (cat photo t-shirts for DH to wear).

The ones I don't want to lose I upload to SmugMug, but I do have to get better with the shots that I've taken where I sit and think "maybe I can do something with that one" either delete them or work on them.

I should try Flickr, that way others can see what I'm doing and enjoy the shots as well. :)

I copy the photos to a CD, and also upload them to Photobucket, and snapfish to share with family and friends. The family is always coming to me asking for a photo from the past events, they know I keep all the phots I take.

How do you do this? I would love to make one of these.:lovestruc

I do something like this:

Its a mosaic of all our disney pics. I used AndreaMosaic to make it and had it printed on Canvas for the wife for Christmas.

I purchased some software about two years ago that is actually for professional photographers. DBF and I have actually made several of these for family and friends and friends of friends. We love it! The application we use lets us add any music we want to it and then splice it together so there aren't any ackward transitions or silent spots in the music. We choose how each photo is zoomed, cropped, panned, etc and then choose each transition between photos. It's a lot of work, but pretty awesome when people watch it on the new flat panel widescreen TVs!!

If you want more info on the software, etc, send me a PM or an email. :)
