What do you do with the giant gap between board and pulldown bed

I agree with the PP who suggesting calling and asking for a mattress that actually fit the bed frame. If that wasn't possible, I would have asked for another bed rail (or two) to put along the back side of the mattress.

I didn’t think to do that since it was our first time using the bed and I didn’t know this wasn’t normal. The pillows worked, but I’ll definitely know more now for next time. I didn’t make the post until after my trip

I posted prior about asking housekeeping for a different mattress. I want to add that the Poly studio and the BRV studio pull down beds do not have a gap in space between the mattress and the "wall" either. It almost looks like they used a crib mattress instead of the small twin version.

Ya I’m not sure since my child slept on it and she sleeps in a tiny ball so mattress size wouldn’t have been noticeable from her laying on it. I’ll definitely be more aware for my next trip
