I'm just wondering what you do with leftover counter service credits. I hate to have anything leftover, but what can I use them for on the last day if we haven't used them all?

Main St. Bakery and many resort CS locations will combine snacks/drinks to compose a CS meal credit. Many get treats to take home or on the road with them.

We drive to WDW (18 hours one way). So, if we have any leftover counter service meals, we tend to go to Earl of Sandwich in DTD before heading out so we have sandwiches to eat on the road.

Yesterday at the All Star Moives food court, they let us get 3 snacks for each counter service credit we had leftover - not the best use of credits, but it was better than letting them go to waste! We got 15 rice krispie treats to bring home!

What a fantastic idea!!

We do the same thing for the drive back to NY.

Earl of Sandwich on the last day for us too! We also have the long drive back to NY. Craving that BLT....

The Boardwalk Bakery has fantastic fruit plates - and of course since dessert is included. Um double yum. :lmao:

Great for the road. I try to buy a lot of them during our trip knowing it's fine otherwise will probably have excess credits.

One of my favourite things to do is eat a BB fruit plate AND brownie on the BW porch. Heaven. :3dglasses

If we have any extra, we also go to Earl Of Sandwich, food on the Autotrain is not that good:lmao:

We usually get meals to take on the plane with us though the drinks usually get wasted. With my food allergies it's nice not worrying about airport food.

When we were there last, we decided to do the AK on our last day... And we had 4 counter service credits left and were trying to figure out how to use them. I saw a sign in a gift shop for the Picnic in the Park program. We used up all 4, and had food for the whole 10 hour trip home! Great sandwiches, bottled water - and it even came in a super cute reusable bag. Not sure if they still have that program - but I think it's a great way to use those credits up! :)

Picnic in the Park is no longer offered. I understand they do have grab and go sandwiches at the Beastly Bazaar.

Just a reminder - posts about using your credits to buy meals for other people will be deleted, as Disney has a written rule that you may not use your dining credits to provide meals for persons who are not part of your party.

We had 5 CS credits left in November. Some of our meals were never taken off during the week, I guess. The manager at Saratoga Springs told us we could not trade these in for snack credits anymore as WDW is "trying to get away from giving snacks for CS". She would only let us have a pastry for each credit or a piece of fruit. Animal Kingdom Lodge had no problem letting us trade CS for 3 snacks in July. Guess things may be changing...

We today and have extra counter service meals.....would be willing to trade them in for a snack or two! Anyone have anything new on this??

If you can't trade them for snack credits, I'd buy a 'to go' sandwich, get a dessert and get a bottle of soda with my CS credit. You're essentially getting two snacks (dessert and a soda) and a bonus sandwich for your credit. Much better value than PP's offer where she could have gotten a piece of fruit for her CS credit.

Go down to the CS in your resort and ask how many snacks they might give you for each CS credit.

We had 17 counter service credits left (and 30 snack credits) when we left last Friday. :scared1:

Our resort(PO Riverside) let us get 1 bakery item or bag of chips or piece of fruit and 2 drinks for each CS credit we had left. We were leaving before lunch so didn't have the option of getting some sandwiches or something.

Luckily we were driving because we ended up with 34 drinks.
