What do you do with code and reservations made through DU?

I just called to see if there was a code attached to my name and no luck. However, I started to panic as the phone was ringing - I have a reservation that I made with Dreams Unlimited. What if the CM would have said yes to the code. Would I have been able to contact DU and have them apply the code or would I have had to make reservations all over again and cancel my first reservations? I need to know this for future calls for my peace of mind.

DU can apply any codes for which you might be eligible is my understanding..

Hopefully a more experienced mod can explain further.
