What do you do with all your shoes?

We have the 5 of us with atleast one pair of sneakers & one pair of sandals for each of us. The entrance way of the MH gets alittle crowded with all these shoes. Does any one have any good suggestions or tips on what they do?:confused3

I have a mat under our travel trailer to the right of the entry steps, we take ours off before entering! easy and clean!!!

There are only two of us, but we have crocs, sandals, slippers, sneakers - and we always seemed to be tripping over them in the MH. I bought a small plastic container for shoes & keep it in front of the driver's seat when parked. We have a diesel MH - so it's right there at the entrance. We kick our shoes into it and voila'! No more tripping over shoes! It also makes it very easy to grab & stash all the shoes at once when we get ready to break camp and head out.

Whether we are in a tent, popup, or camper, we have always used a plastic bin right outside the door. Keeps the shoes together and out of the way and keeps the inside cleaner. The only issue we had was when the kids would miss and they would have to crawl under the camper to get them. LOL Here at home I keep a wicker basket by each door for shoes. We always know where they are and they are out of the way.

We're fortunate to have a basement storage bin right next to the door of the moho. It's designated for shoes (and charcoal) so we just pop it open and toss 'em in.

We used to put them on the floor under the couch, which was right in front of the TT door. Last summer I got a nylon (I think) shoe organizer at Wal Mart. It has 4 slots across, and hangs about 6' tall. I mounted it to the inside wall next to the door using Command hooks and velcro. Now we keep the shoes in that. Even with 5 of us we don't use all the spaces.

We use the confort station at The Fort, so in the shower area we have a shower curtain bar mounted and we hang a storage unit from IKEA there. It works perfectly. The bar can be lifted up and removed if we needed to use the shower.

I had to read that twice. At first I thought you were saying that you kept your shoes in the shower at the comfort station. No more beer for me tonight! :rotfl:

i leave mine in the front of the door to trip myself a bunch. gives me a reason to cuss sparatically and blame it on the shoes when i am mad. also it is a great alarm for intruders and to catch my little one before he makes it into mey bedroom in my tt and catch my teenager if she is sneaking out the front door when we are in bed.. and i also thought they said they kept there shoes in the comfort station and i am sober

Jim - you know how Carol has to have 3 different outfits for each day of vacation? I have to have several pairs of shoes to choose from depending on the day's adventure! It's a girl thing!

I purchased an over the door shoe organizer, glued felt to the back of the hooks, and we hang it from the storage compartment above the driver's side window once we are parked.
