What do you do when you see a troll posting?

Wow, you are very talented Alex. Who knew? :cool1:

I've heard many of the greats do there best work in the middle of the night :teeth:

Alex, try out for American Idol next year! :goodvibes I just avoid the trolls!

Depends on what type of troll it is. If its someone just spamming the boards, I ignore, if its one trying to stir up trouble, I usually break out the popcorn and get comfy. :earsgirl:

Very cute Alex!! You are so talented!!! :)

As far as trolls go....I ignore them.

I always thought the sign said "Don't Feed the Trolls". Just like the Alligators in Florida. But nobody listens than they eat little helpless animals. Than people. :earseek:

My father signed on to the DIS last week and his first ever post was on one of the Terri Schiavo threads. I told him that everyone's going to think he's a troll. :rotfl:

When a real troll is around, I just ignore them.

Same here. :)

Very interesting post for 2 am, Alex. Makes me wonder what you had for dinner! :teeth:

There are so many interesting threads, I think it's easiest to just ignore the troll and let their thread die.

If it's an ugly one, I'd report the thread/post to the mods and let them clean it up. (Okay, I'd actually just squash the troll's post myself. But if I didn't have magical troll-squashing powers :wizard: , I'd report them to someone who did! )

But for the regular, run of the mill trolls, they tend to get bored and just go away on their own if you ignore them.

LOL, Cute, Alex! I'm never sure how to identify the trolls. I try to just read and pass on though.

I'm convinced more and more that the best feature on these boards is the IGNORE list (see my siggie).

How many can I put on there, Alex? ;)

And then there is always the handy dandy cut/paste feature........

I agree some of my best times here is sitting with Snopy eating popcorn. But I learned the hard way not to eat hers. Took a long time for that swelling in my hand to go down. ;) :teeth:

YOu know ladies, I found the perfect solution to this:

Bring your own bowl kejoda, snoopy will pour some of her popcorn into your bowl. She doesn't like sharing out of the same container, but will share if you have the 'proper receptacle' :rotfl:

What world are you living in Debster? :confused3 Its "get your own" when it comes to Snoopy and popcorn. Or course she doesn't have a problem taking someone elses. :rotfl:

No, no, kejoda, debster is right! :rotfl: Its my OCD that comes into play, I have no problems sharing the actual popcorn, I just don't want anyone's hands in my bowel! :p Even my kids. Actually, with my kids and their grubby little fingers, ESPECIALLY my kids. :rotfl:
