What do you do when you go last-minute?

I have a question (sure I have one, otherwise I wouldn't post): In case I book a last-minute trip to WDW, what do I do? Starve to death, only get turkey legs/ CS or are there possibilities to go to a TS restaurant?

Just wondering... Since I have seen some great rate for a flight to FL...

Hi,

It really depends on when you are going...if you are going in a busy season you will have trouble getting ADRs at "regular" dining times in many restaurants. If you are going in the off season, it might be a little easier.

But the only way to know for sure is to call as soon as you are ready! It also helps if you are flexible with your dining times when calling at the last minute.

Good luck!

go at off times for lunch (2 ish) i remember when i went with my aunt and uncle we ate at rain forrest, and 60s prime time for lunch without adrs. a little wait but nothing a quick ride couldn't kill.

It wouldn't hurt to call Disney Dining and ask what's available. You may have to eat at wierd times, but you'll never know unless you try.

Check with Guest Services when you arrive, either at the hotel or in the park. We have always been able to get an ADR somewhere for either that day or next day.

We had some luck with this strategy on our last trip, which was during Presidents' Week. For instance, as soon as we entered MGM, we went to the dining window to see if there was anything available, and were able to snag a noon reservation for 50s Prime Time Cafe.

Also, as another poster suggested, as soon as you have your airline reservation, make a general plan, and get on the phone with the dining folks. If you are relatively flexible, you should have success!
