If that person is me jakey.... I am not obsessed! Disney is just the greatest thing ever... and The Dis is the one place where people are just as obsessed as me

Seems to me that while one person might be considered "obsessive", the rest of the family or group certainly benefits from that obsession.

Maybe it would be nicer to just say, careful planner. And if you're a beneficiary of all the thoughtful work that went into the trip, be sure to say, "Thank you!"

There are worse obsessions. She could be out buying Disney things on ebay every day instead of just surfing the boards. You should be happy she keeps such a close watch to save you all that money when you go to Disney.

My own personal obsession has resulted in many happy trips! It has enabled us to...
eat at better restaurants,
avoid bad counter service food,
understand how to use the fast pass,
know when to hit rides so we do not have to wait,
understand bus routes and magical express
saved us tons of money on airline reservations,
and plan the perfect family vacation!

So my advice to you is let your wife obsess and you sit back and enjoy the ride

I say to each his own. While I agree that some people are very obsessive and others love all things Disney and I know it can be a bit annoying, just let them do their thing.

I don't understand the people that get depressed because they cannot plan trip or because they are back home, but those same people probably would not understand why I do and say the things I do....YKWIM?

Enjoy the Disboards for what they are and if you feel people are obsessing too much, kindly ask them to chill on the info because you are going into overload.
