Hi all,
I know it's a bit personal, I don't mean it too be!! Just a bit of fun and maybe we might get some new ideas from each other,
my question being what do you do to save for your trip?? What little things do you pull back on and you find add up to help pay off the cost of your holiday/spends
The reason this has popped into my head is that I'm back at uni(sitting exams
) and I realised that before Christmas I was spending a shocking amount eating out for lunch or dinner with a sandwich and tea sometimes racking up to €8/approx £6.50. Five days a week you are talking €40/£34.
With €1300 left to pay off my trip before April 26th I really can't being splurging so much.
So this semester I have went out and did a big shop in tesco and cooked loads of meals and froze them so that will stop me eating out so much or spending a lot on unnecessary takeaways or trips to the corner shop!!
Also for Christmas my Dbf got me a kor water bottle which filters tap water as I was spending so much on bottled water!
Any good tips that you have used before or worked for you??
