What Do You Do To Pass the Time Until Your Next Trip?

I thought that I would ask this question of you all since you all come up with great ideas!

So how do you pass the time until your next trip?

I like to watch Youtube videos of Disney rides, I watch the MCO flights that are arriving and think "hey some of those people are going to Disney!", I watch Disney movies, listen to Disney music.

I know a lot of people have unique ways to prep themselves for their magical vacation - so what do you do?

Fortunately Val & I go frequently so its not a long time between trips.

The longest interval is usually about 5 months (May - October) and we are busy with golf on weekends then. Plus we don't really care for the hot, crowded time at WDW in the summer.

But in the cooler weather, we occupy ourselves with planning the next trip. Its not like we need to plan much, since we've pretty much done everything. Its more of deciding what our priorities will be for the next trip. Where we will stay (which DVC resort), what park will be a focus of the trip (perhaps Epcot for F&W or F&G which kind of dictates if we want to stay at BCV or BWV), and what dates we should go. Available vacation time enters into that calculation.

Then its the thrill of the hunt as we watch for a good price on the flight, and perhaps a rental car. Its also about making an ADR or two (seldom more) for places we really want to eat one night.

Once we've got all that down, its pretty much time to go!

I forgot about trying to find a good flight and a good price on the rental cars! That certainly was fun for us too for this upcoming trip. Although we really didn't get a good deal, but i'm glad that we booked when we did because our flight was sold out the very next day. As for the rental cars, the airlines we use offers a great discount on the price of the car plus a little deal choice (one free day or one free upgrade).

I find that the winter months feel never-ending. But soon enough its off to sunny Orlando!

Much like other people, I usually spend my free time planning a future trip.

Right now, I'm planning a trip for my mom and I. My mom keeps asking "What's the deal with Disney?" So I'm hoping to give her a chance to experience some of the magic!

Even though we won't be going until October, I'm thinking about where I want to make my ADRs. I'm also crossing my fingers for an October discount!

I don't even have another trip planned right now at all :( Trying to save for a downpayment on a house, so all trips are on hold until at least 2013. Sooo, I spend a lot of time on the DIS and giving advice to friends or family who are going..

I'm working on my scrapbook for the next trip - I do premade page for disney ;)
keeps me happy

I always have some either planned or in the planning stage. I'm not just talking about to Disney but a trip somewhere, even if it is just a long weekend.

Like most others have replied, I start planning the next trip.

I currently have 2 Disney trips planned (DL in July - ABD with the Podcast team plus two weeks prior to that at DL and road trip up to SF) and PCC3.0 in June 2012.

I'm also planning a non-Disney trip (shock, horror) to northern India in November.

I listen to Disney Podcasts to/from work and we talk about past and future holidays a fair bit. Actually, lets face it, I bring around every conversation to Disney sooner or later if given the chance :rotfl2:
