We're considering switching to ASmo from FW cabin and need some advice. How do you keep sane with two small children, 5 and 2, in the room with you for five nights?

How do you get them to settle down and nap if you are right there? Any ideas? Is this possible?

I've read about taking folding chairs out on the walkway with a nice cold beer. Does this work?

I posted a similar question on the resorts page but I thought the families might be able to help.

We've stayed at ASMo several times in the past. Our kids are now 7, 5 and 2. The first night is usually the toughest as far as excitement goes. After that though they are usually so tuckered out that they pretty much fall right asleep. After coming back to the room at night we give them baths which seems to relax them and we put on the Bedtime Stories that are on the Disney's hotel channel selection. They always fall asleep after one or two stories. :flower:

We had a group of 6 so we had connecting rooms, which gave us a little more space. We would actually lay down with the kids in the afternoon and nap too, or after they fell asleep we could all go in the other room and read/talk/watch tv. Some would go around and tour the resort while one person would stay with the kids. But the above poster is right, by the end of the day they are tuckered out and fall asleep almost immediately.
