What do you do the day you check in?

i usually get the first flight off of long island at 7am. the sooner the better!!! that time places us in orlando at 930am and we are at our resort no later then 10am. we check in, room usually isnt ready, and then its off to the park a.s.a.p. of my DS#2's choice. it is a bit of a rush getting up so early but the night before our wdw trip i usualy cant sleep anyway so why not leave early and maximize our time at wdw.

We explore the hotel, usually. Sometimes we go to the Boardwalk or DTD.

This year we will check out the hotel, possibly get all the Potatohead parts, head the Chef Mickey's, then hang out in the room maybe?

We usually hit DTD and get to bed early for the next day!
