What do you do on your last evening?

Last year DBF and I saved up loads of snack credits and went eating at the food and wine festival on our last day. Sat down in Italy to watch the fireworks with a beer (for him) and a prosecco (me) and reflected on our magical 2 weeks.

The day we flew home we checked out early and went to the outlets for a couple of hours, then DTD for some lunch and then to the airport.

What ever you do on your last day/night it will be magical!

We go out for a nice meal off site - our faves are Cheesecake Factory or Bahama Breeze (we always got to MK on our last day before driving straight to the airport, so no pressure to spend our last evening in MK.)

We always seem to spend the last evening in DTD. Usually to pick up our personalised Christmas bauble!!

I don't think I would be strong enough to do magic kingdom and wishes on the last night - i would just cry like a baby leaving!!

It's always Epcot for us, a dinner at one of the Boardwalk restaurants then back in for fireworks and tears! We've been going since 1981 and still get emotional on the last night!

Epcot for me. Well most nights I spend at Epcot but the last night has got to be Epcot. The day is split on a park the last min shopping at Down Town Disney then Epcot with a walk about the hotel on the late on the night

We're hoping to be in Animal Kingdom for the am - Wild Africa Trek (if finances allow). Couple of hours relaxing at the pool pm, Ohana for dinner which is one of our favourites and then MK fireworks - theme building here:goodvibes.

Not sure what to do on our last morning -depends on when DME picks us up -think it will be about 3pm so pool for a couple of hours then DTD & Disney Quest perhaps.

Goodness only know what I'll be like when we leave- it's going to be our last Disney trip for quite a while as DD is due to go off to Uni just after we get back, DS already there. So last Disney trip & an empty house to look forward to :sad1:

It's MK and Wishes for us - we'll then stay as late as possible, just sitting in front of the castle/strolling along Main St. taking photos etc. until we get asked to leave by security! :rotfl:

This year, we're going to be spending the whole last day/night at MK starting with breakfast at CRT. We're going to nip over for tea at the Grand Floridian late afternoon, before returning back to MK!

MK has to be the first and last day for us! :)

Pretty much a carbon copy of what we do.

Yeah, Wishes for us. Last time we went, we spent the evening at Citricos, then hopped over to MK for the fireworks. I'd booked preferred seating as well. We just stood there for ages when they finished, none of us wanted to leave :lmao:

We’ll be in WDW for 14 nights in Oct / Nov (staying at SSR) with DDP. Currently thinking either eat at a signature and linger over dinner, or eat earlier and head back in to MK to watch the fireworks - potentially with preferred viewing. (It’ll be a Saturday night, and if things follow the same pattern as last year then MK will be ‘not recommended’ by easywdw due to there being MNSSHP on preceeding nights, but longer operating hours that night pulling in big crowds)

Would love to know any traditions or recommendations you have......

Thanks
Sencybil x

We are also going for 14 nights to SSR in Oct/Nov!!!

What time is your flight home? Our flight (and all of our flights previously) doesn't leave until later in the evening on our last day so we typically do what we do on every other night! We will probably head to the Yachtsman for our departure dinner and then walk around through the International Gateway to watch illuminations. Then we'll have a final hurrah in MK on morning of our last day. :thumbsup2

last evening for us in in MK, finish off by watching Wishes :goodvibes
weve tried a few other things but it doesnt feel right if we're not at MK. :)
