I'm sure there is a lot going on on board. Just wondered what? We are doing land & sea combination - can't decide between 3 day land/4 day sea or vice versa as there is a lot to be done on land too:goodvibes .

Ton of organized activities on board, plus plenty of time for DH and I to do spa stuff like the Rasul!!, brunch or high tea at Palo's to name a few.

:surfweb:

My kids chose to spend the whole day in the Lab leaving dh and I with a nice relaxing day to ourselves...now thats a vacation!! LOL!!

I think Palo and Palo brunch will be full on sea day??

Just wonder :confused3

Anybody know about it?

Do the 4 day period. We were get up early busy for both Nassau and Castaway Cay, so it was so great to have one more day to get up late, relax and enjoy everything before our dream was over. We added one day onto our Land/Sea and did 4 nights at WDW and the 4 night cruise.

:rotfl: My DW steers me clear of auctions on sea days!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

We love the Eastern for the 3 at sea days. They are fantastic.

Palo Brunch is about as good as Palo dinner--imho.

I am thinking about eating there on Sunday of our Western in 08. I like to do dinner the night they do that wierd stuff like blue-lipped-somethings. It was Wed on the Eastern.

We all enjoyed the at sea days almost more than the port days. AND I AM REALLY THE WEIRD ONE--- I was not blown away by CC!!!!! Don't get me wrong--it is very nice. Maybe it is what you are use to -- beach wise. We've been spoiled by the Florida panhandle - Sugar beaches -- where we go is very not crowded. Hot sun--shady chairs--- Foods not "free". BUT that is the only reason I can figure for why I did not feel it lived up to what I'd imagined.

I kind of got off topic didn't I.

AT SEA DAYS ROCK -- (well maybe lit and fig!:rotfl2:)

kids usually prefer to go to the kids clubs so DH and I have time to stroll around.

After Palo brunch, go sit out on one of the deck chairs and read a good book!

:cool2:

I worked out-- walked along the track with my Ipod and used the machines upstairs. We went to an afternoon matinee of the shows. We also did the Stage tour workshop. We took a nap.

PALO doesn't stand for anything. It is Italian for "Pole" like the sorts that gondoliers tie their boats to.

Sea days are the best!
Go to movies, sleep in, enjoy time to relax before dinner, stay up late the night before, have fun with all the activities on ship, learn how to dance, join a trivia contest, get a massage, play basketball, work out, watch sports, read a book with a slushy girly drink on the deck. It's all good!

Palo is the extra cost restaurant on board the Magic and Wonder.

Sea days are what cruises are all about for my wife and I. Other than Castaway Cay, we could do just fine without the other ports.
I think a typical sea day on the Magic for DW, me, DD 12 and DS 16 was something like this.
1) Sleep in
2) Leisurely breakfast
3) A little family ping pong, followed by shuffle board, and shoot some hoops.
4) Stand in front of the windshield at the front of the ship, enjoy the wind and sea
5) Listen to the ships horn blow at Noon (make sure to cover ears)
6) Leisurely lunch
7) Catch matinee performs of stage show in Walt Disney Theater
8) snack time (chicken fingers at Plutos Doghouse rock)
9) Catch movie in Buena Vista theater (make sure to bring french fries from plutos doghouse with you to munch on during the movie)
10) Ice Cream from Goofy's Galley
11) Family Disney Trivia contest
12) Round two of family ping pong/schuffle board/basketball
13) back to cabin to clean up for late seating show (even though we already saw the matinee)
14) Dinner time (late seating)
15) Show in one of the clubs (comic/magician, juggler)
16) Grab a piece of pizza before Pinnochios closes
17) another trip to the front of the ship to enjoy the sea air
18) movie
19) order cookies and milk from room service
20) bed time

3 sea days, and we never found time to use the pools.

Enjoy turning the deck chair around on Deck 10 and enjoy sailing on the sea, look at the view (this is better than the view of everyone walking by looking for a deck chair). Chill with music in my ear, a book in my hand and a drink beside me. :cool1:

Love sea days!

The first sea days are always packed, the loungers are all saved and taken. By the end of the cruise, everyone is sun burned and there are plenty of deck chairs :goodvibes

At sea days are heaven. Or at least the one that we've been able to experience was. After our first cruise was only 3-night, that extra day in the 4-night made a huge difference to us. Since we were so busy doing shore excursions, and spent most of the day off the ship to have to return and get ready for dinner. The days were always busy for us when we were in port, but the at sea day was different. It was the one day that we actually relaxed and went at our "own" pace. I think we hung out by the pool a little, ordered room service, saw some shows that we didn't get to see on our first cruise, played bingo, and really enjoyed ourselves.:cloud9:
