When we took the 4 day WOnder cruise we never ate in a sit down restaurant for lunch...we kiiped lunch one day, the other ate in freeport, and at Castaway Cay we ate the lunch buffet on the island.

Our first cruise we did the buffet (Topsiders) for breakfast and lunch every day. Our second cruise we did the sit down breakfast and lunch every day except for Castaway Cay day. We prefer the sit-down breakfasts and lunches in Triton's and plan to do the same next month.

We've been on 3 cruises, and most of the we would just snack on ship. We had late sitting dinner so we could eat something around 4 and still be ready for dinner. While in port we would eat in port at a place in town.

On our four day cruise, we never ate lunch (DH and 4 1/2 and 7 year old boys). I think DH and I drank lunch one day but I think that is a whole other thread.

We usually eat burgers, hot dogs or chicken fingers by the pool. Since we always have late seating for dinner we indulge in a cheese and cracker plate around 5-5:30pm. Yummy

We usually try to do a bit of each.

On our May cruise we ate at Topsiders twice, ate sit-down twice,
grabbed burgers/chicken strips one day in Cozumel before our excursion left, ordered room service mid-afternoon the day we were in Grand Cayman.

It's nice to have so much variety!

We don't usually plan anything. Once or twice during the week we have a sit down lunch. The rest of the time we grab a bite at whatever is near by.

We did both. Sit down at Triton's and buffet at Topsiders. It was nice to do both, but I preferred the sit down at Triton's. The atmosphere is so much nicer at the sit down.

We enjoyed lunch most every day in the sit-down restaurant. It was a nice break in the middle of the day to eat a relaxing noon meal away from crowds in peace and quiet.

Our thought is, even on days we have excursions, we like going back to the boat to eat because we know the food won't make us ill and better yet, it's paid for!!

We always did the breakfast buffet at Topsiders (very, very good!), so we skipped it for lunch.

However, once we did eat on deck outside, and the chicken fingers were surprisingly good. Sometimes just for a snack while swimming, we'd grab a piece of pizza or a bratwurst on deck.

And, although we've never done room service, you can do that at odd times when food service is not available.

That's the nice thing about Disney cruises -- you can usually always find most any kind of food you want if you know where to look.
