Thanksgiving in my happy place?? Don't mind if I do! (Updated 6/5)

What a great way to wrap up the last day at Disney! I always have a mental list of all the foods I want to try during the festivals and then up just having a few. Every. Single. Time. My mind is way bigger than my stomach, I guess.

After Thanksgiving Traffic! I know exactly what you mean. It once took us three and a half hours to go less than 100 miles because we were just sitting there inching along.

Yeah - my mind thinks it can do a LOT more than my stomach. Especially since I mostly want the desserts and the drinks. I would be a HOT mess if I tried. Oh well, half the fun is the planning and making the list anyway.

Also traffic. Yeah - it was bad. I know I am not a super patient person in many driving situations, but when it comes to that kind of traffic, relax friends. Put on some music or a pod cast and have a car disco. No one is getting anywhere any time soon.

Your last afternoon in Epcot sounds wonderful. I'm glad you were finally able to ride Remy, such a perfect way to finish off a trip! I'm glad you enjoyed your orange hot chocolate. It always feels like such a win when you find a gem at a festival booth.

Now I want to be around when you run into your friend Rob. Sounds like it'd be a great time. I love when people are happy and boisterous. The world needs more laughter!

Oh that chocolate orange drink was the best!! I was sad when I thought I wasn't going to get to go for Thanksgiving this year (I was trying to be financially responsible since I am getting a lot of expensive dental work done in 2 days). However, a couple of things fell in my lap AND I decided a trip to Disney is less expensive than therapy so I'll be back for Thanksgiving and fingers crossed they do that drink again for Festival of the Holidays.

Oh and yeah - Rob is a trip!! You should have ridden Dinosaur with him. He fully gets into the experience. I have so many great memories of trips to Disney with him when we both worked in Florida. I can't wait until he and Kate have kids (if they decide to). Believe me when I say I am going to be joining them on trips!

I had a great time reliving my trip. It really helps to fill the time between trips and keeps the magic going.
