What do you do for breakfast in the world?

TS, CS or in your room? Do you have kids??? How old??

Last time we brought cereal and had maybe 1-2 TS breakfast meals and did MK bakery one day. I'm thinking this time I could go to the food court and get platters and share but I think that would waste a lot of time nad we should just stick to eating in the room.

Nikki, when my boys were little we stuck to eating in the room. It was so much easier and less expensive + I have 5 boys = big food bill :rotfl2:
and I bought boxes of cereal . They loved it. It saves time to they were eating while me & DH got ready.

We always eat in our room. It's not so much the use of TS credits for us, but the time factor. We like to be there to open the parks & it makes it alot easier if they kids can eat while we are waiting for the buses or in front of the parks.

I'm pretty liberal when it comes to what "counts" as a breakfast food. My kids like fig newtons, dry cereal, or some type of nutri grain/granola bar in the morning. That seemed to hold them over until lunch.

For a couple of yrs we would go to the food court at our resort one yr to save money we ate cereal or bagels in the room. Last yr DH and I ate at what ever park we went to in the morning. If your trying to save money I say eat in the room otherwise its vacation!

When the kids were younger, I used to pack five plastic bowls and spoons, cereal and poptarts. Then we would go to the food court and buy milk. The kids would eat while I was getting ready.

Now that the kids are older and we use the dining plan (didn't when they were younger. Don't know why!:confused3), we don't even eat breakfast.

We are late risers, so we just get up, get ready, go straight to the parks and grab something when we get there.

Our ADRs are always for dinner.

We are doing a mix of plans this year. We have 3 character breakfasts planned and the other mornings it will be cereal in the room which we are bringin with us.

Normally I eat in my room/ on the way to the busstop/ finish my coffee at a turnstile.:lmao: On my upcoming trip during F&WF I also have Deluxe Dining (yes I'm crazy) so I scheduled 5 breakfasts so I can booth hop in the middle of the day.

We bring or buy cereal and there's enough room in the mini fridge at CSR for a couple of half-gallons of milk. Sometimes, we'll get a big cinnamon roll or pecan roll with a snack credit in the morning or the night before.

Normally we have a rental car, so we usually get cereal and the such for the room. This year we are not getting a rental car, so we are thinking of having some groceries delivered. We eat in the room because it saves time. We do have 2 breakfast PS booked this time.

We get ready for the park and take juice boxes and granola bars with us to eat while waiting for the earliest bus possible. :goodvibes
None of us really like to eat first thing in the morning. We do like breakfast foods though, so we usually schedule one big breakfast for a late time and then skip lunch that day.

My son likes hot meals so we try to have character breakfast and the days we do not have a character breakfast we have room service so we can get ready while he eats his breakfast. I wished my son would eat cereals but he likes pancakes or eggs for breakfast.

We have 2 growing boyspopcorn::. DS (11) and DS soon to turn (7), so we normally eat Breakfast at the food court or have a couple of ADR's character breakfast scheduled. It's our vacation and when we are home we very rarely eat out especially for breakfast, so this is our treat. Enjoy.:cool1:

Most mornings on our last trip, my DH and at least one of my boys would go to the Roaring Fork while I was getting my shower, and they'd get breakfast and bring it up to our room. They'd eat and watch the morning sports on ESPN, and then I'd eat when I was done getting ready. It didn't take any more time than if I had cereal and milk. Either way, they had to wait for me to be ready to go!

My boys are 14 and 10.

I bring bags of lenders bagels with me from home - 2-3 bucks for 6 bagels... I sometimes also bring a box of frosted flakes with me from home. In the morning I bring my refilable mug, a baggie of cereal ( I eat it dry ) and put a bagel on my finger and walk to the food court. I then throw my bagel in the toaster, get some free soda or juice from the fountain ) pick up some of that handy free butter they have, pick up my toasted bagel, and eat it all the way to the bus stop. It's a great time saver and budget saver. I've done this on every trip since 2002.:thumbsup2

I'm not much of a breakfast eater, and I sleep pretty late besides. I usually grab a yogurt and some cereal from the foodcourt the night before and eat it at some point in the morning. Once a trip (maybe less), I might get the urge for a big breakfast. Who knows, if I want a big breakfast in November I might take the boat over to Trail's End for a late buffet (never been there for breakfast). That ought to keep me going until suppertime!

We have a few breakfasts scheduled but will also bring some food for the room. My grandson likes to eat breakfast as soon as he wakes up so I will buy the small boxes of cereal and some granola bars. Probably buy some fruit also.

I think we will stick with our cereal, milk, yogurt, bagels and cream cheese. That's what we did last trip and it worked well. :thumbsup2

My family, not me, are HUGE breakfast eaters. We have several TS ADR's for our trips. On the other days, my DH goes down to CS and gets the largest plates of whatever. I used to fight this and try to make them eat a granola bar, cereal, or something else quick, but it was horrible for them.
It is hard for me to sit there with my cup of coffee, because all I can think is "We could be at a park right now instead of stuffing your faces!";)

So to the OP's question, do what you have to do for your family to be happy and not cranky. If my DH were writing this he would be lecturing on how breakfast is the most important meal of the day, blah, blah, blah. :rotfl2:

I usually have light breakfast food in the room. Then depending on the park, I may buy a late breakfast instead of lunch some days. If I'm having a late morning at the resort, I usually hit the CS at the hotel for breakfast. I really prefer having my largest meal mid-day, instead of first thing in the morning, or in the evening.
