What do you do between ADRs and FP+?

So.... 180 day ADR's made (with the typical difficulty, of course). 60 day FP window is not until September. What the heck am I supposed to do between now and then? I'm practically twitching. What helps? Shopping for cutesy DD Disney outfits matching each daily theme park? Incessantly painting DD's nails in red and white Minnie Mouse manicures? I need some ideas here, people!!!!

Make your FP+ plan, rethink your FP+ plan, change your FP+ plan, second guess your FP+ plan, obsess over your FP+ plan, repeat! You will eventually end up with your original plan but it will give you something to do.:rotfl2:That is what I normally do with all of my plans. Sometimes it's crazy.:crazy2:

... same here, and then I change it when I get there!

I start thinking what FP I want and make a list so when my window comes up, I'm ready to go. Other than that, I just post questions on here, or try and answer some too.

Eagerly await for the FP window to open up/Eagerly await our trip once FPs are made!

I watch a lot of Disney Vlogs. And I'm not just saying that because I vlog. I used to watch other vlogs before doing them myself. It really gives me a great "fix" while I'm waiting on my next trip. :-) If you like them too, please check ours out (in my signature)!

I also make a spreadsheet in google docs with each day I'll be there, which parks have the lowest attendance per crowd calendars, which parks are the worst or to be avoided, and my ADRs. Then I fill in FP+ times later as well as show times once they are posted. About a week prior to the trip I confirm all times and add in EMHs and actual park hours to the spreadsheet. When we leave I print it out and that way if my phone dies or MDE crashes or whatever I have a backup with everything. So it fills the time and also serves a useful purpose. Also it helps having all of that mapped out prior to the FP+ window opening so you can see which park you want to target which day and when your ADRs are easily in one spot.

I am obsess reading the dining reviews.. I love me some food porn.. once I have exhausted all 235 pages of that I will move onto trip reports!

I know what you mean! I am working on my scheduling spreadsheet, a doc containing all confirmation #s, another doc containing all important phone #s, and reading dining reviews and menus as well as possible FP+s. Once docs are complete I download them to my cell phone and also send them to DD & DIL for their files also. December cannot come quickly enough!

Haha I did two of those things while waiting for FP+ to arrive.. Bought an adorable top on etsy!! Says "I can't keep calm I'm in Disney" just arrived yesterday & can't wait to wear it in August! Also bought Jamberry nails w/ an idea I got on here actually! Trying those out soon too. I also checked out the Dis boards obsessively & we fine tuned our itinerary like three times. Have fun!! The waiting is killer but also exciting!!

Write and re-write my bucket list, change my lists of FP+ priorities for different days, wait impatiently for the next DIS Unplugged podcast, watch ride videos on Youtube, plan park outfits, research shoes!

I think I'm going to find it harder next time: last time, we had free dining, and so we had ADRs booked every day. Next time, as we're in a Moderate rather than a DVC resort, free dining for us is free QSDP. We'll book a couple of meals to pay for out of pocket, but without so many ADRs, our park days are a lot more open to being switched around. I guess I'll have changed our plans at least 20 times between ADR day and FP+ day!

Add a list of all the counter service snacks I want to eat so that my non adr meals can include as many as possible. Debated if I have too many adrs because they will impinge on the snacking. That new gelateria in DtD is crimping my Ghiradelli plan so working on how to get both in and still fit in my clothing.

Worrying if MDE will work any better for FP than it did for adr, I had to do all my adrs by phone this time. Disney really does cause compulsions lol

Lol it really does! I did my FP+ yesterday morning, got up at 6 am because I couldn't stay awake til midnight. And I was finally able to book at 7:47 am. So only 1 hour & 47 mins their system was down. :scared:

I plan for when I want my FPs. I listed out little time windows that would work for each. Usually before my ADRs. I don't like to do certain rides (Star Tours, Test Track, Tower of Terror) on a full stomach. But rides like Pirates or Peter Pan are ok for after my ADR. I figure all of that out.:)
