These are all such great ideas! I don't own
DVC but stayed at a BWVilla (1br) twice. Once drove down for 11 days, and the crockpot would have been a great idea! I love to take a roast, put onion soup mix on it, then a can of root beer. That's it - it's so delicious for the kids, and they can eat the leftovers next day. I get tired of eating out too - after a busy day it's nice to just have something simple.
One thing I'm glad I brought on that trip was stuff like zip loc baggies and saran wrap. We packed all our stuff in plastic storage containers instead of suitcases.
My DS has food allergies, so cooking for him is easier sometimes also. DD likes hard boiled eggs, and chicken nuggets are easy and quick. Frozen veggies are good - sometimes on vacation we don't eat as well!
We're coming in December and have a 1br booked at Saratoga Springs, so this is giving me ideas for planning! In the winter (even at Disney) it's nice to have a good meal planned. I may even do a roast one day - it sounds like a lot but it's actually so simple to take a bird, stick it in the oven, make some potatoes and stuffing, whatever. If it's a slow day where you're just at the pool, it would be comforting.
I've also been known when travelling with friends to other condos, to take some commonly used spices, and pack little baggies of them. Oil and other items are cheap - just buy small amounts and I always leave everything leftover for the housekeeping. They can take drinks, laundry soap, etc...
One thing NOT to cook - I bought one of those boxed dinners that contains chicken - it was some kind of baked thing like a casserole or a pot pie dinner thing. I made it - why? Tossed it out. I don't know what I was thinking! If you'd never eat it at home, you may not like it on vacation either! I think it was the chicken - smelled like catfood to me!

I don't like hamburger helper either - but if you or your kids did that would be easy and filling. DS can't eat that as it has dairy anyway. But that chicken stuff - beware
