What do you collect?

I collect Disney Lenox figurines. I have a lot and keep getting more all the time.

I collect any Pfaltzgraff "Tea Rose" pattern. Also, cookbooks.

I collect Alice in Wonderland stuff (disney and non-disney items), disney pins, pressed pennies, and vintage compacts & solid perfume containers.

Hockey memorabilia, most recently, but only stuff from players or teams I really, really love. The biggest things I have are 2 Shjon Podein game-used sticks, which are mounted on my entryway walls--got those from the Bluenote Authentics store at Scottrade Center. They've got all kinds of game-used stuff there: skates, pants, gloves, sticks, you name it!

I used to collect baseball cards when I was liitle; I kept them in those recipe-card boxes with little dividers for each team, and the names of the teams in each box were written on top of the box for easy organization and access.

I also used to collect Beanie Babies back in the day, but I only bought the ones that I thought were cute or that had some meaning to me. I've gotten rid of most of them, but kept Garcia, the tye-dyed bear that I'd given to my grandfather when he was going to start marijuana treatments for his stomach cancer (get it? Garcia? Marijuana? Hee hee.) My grandmother gave it back to me after he passed away, and it's one of the few collectible-type things I plan on keeping forever.

I'm not sure this is collecting, but I like to pick up a magnet from every place we vacation. The ones that hold pictures are my fav, so you can add a picture when you get home.

I also like Disney stuff, but I don't think I have enough to call it a collection...yet. ;)

Younger DD collects
Snow globes (Disney and from vacation spots as well as everyday ones, she's at about 50 now)
Anything dolphin (wouldn't know where to start counting, way too much)
Nutcrackers (this is a fairly new Christmas thing she loves, so we find one every year for her now, her Uncle really scored for her this year and found a Nutcracker Snow Globe :thumbsup2 )
Johnny Depp pictures, posters, life size cut-outs, folders, tablets, etc...
Disney pins (as of our last trip)
Post cards from our travels

Older DD collects
Frogs
Bells
Christmas Moose
Grumpy & Tinkerbell items
Post cards

I have collected Precious Moments since I was born.. literally.
My DF collects CocaCola stuff and we collect DVDs together. We both also have a thing for antiques but we mostly look at those.

My Dh would answer "what DOESN'T she collect...but I've pared down my stuff:scared: really...anyhoo-

I collect FireKing dinnerware, pottery, teeny-tiny mini tea sets, glass beads, old large bracelets (mostly silver) and country-kitch/folk-art stuff for decorating.

I'm sure there is more I could add to the list :upsidedow

Nutcrackers! They make such lovely holiday decorations!

Elephants- esp Fenton.

Magnets- I get them from everywhere I go and am trying to collect a complete set of the state ones, but I have to go to the state to get it.

Giant Disney mugs- 16 oz or larger.

Cats- they just seem to find me.

I collect too many things:
Disney pins
Eeyore-anything and everything
Magnets from the places I have visited
Carousel horses
Angels
Cookbooks

Stuffed animals
Hand lotions (started doing that as b/f's dad a truck driver & he gets two every week when he goes to the Holiday Inn in Boston :p)
feathers (from my two cockatiels)

mickey plush, well anything mickey, really!

shot glasses

shot glasses

Forgot about those! I collect them too. But since becoming a parent I haven't used my shot glasses in YEARS! So now I give them kids their Tylenol in them  Ibuprophren Shots anyone???

I have a collection of Precious Moments figurines, but just ones I really like, so I'm not sure I'd call myself a collector... Same with Karen Hahn Angels. They are just sooo pretty!

I do collect:
American Girl doll stuff
Little Golden Books
and I've started collecting unique bowls from our travels. Bought a beautiful handpainted one in Africa at AK last trip. :)
Butterfly stuff

DVD's
Japanese anime(especially anything from Cowboy Bebop and Trigun)
TV season sets
Anything dealing with 30 Seconds to Mars and My Chemcial Romance
Books(LOTR,HP,Narnia especially)
CD's

Cinderella Stuff; watches, Lenox figurines, lithographs, snowglobes, Arribas Brothers figurines.

Sea shells; We have hundreds and hundreds (we live 1/4 mile from the ocean) in bowls, vases, on shelves, everywhere. Most are local, but I will admit to smuggling some home from the Carribean.

Snowmen. DD "bought" me one her first Christmas and has given me one or more every Christmas since, she'll be 21 in May.
