What do you carry your camera in at the parks?

I was just wondering what some of you carry your cameras in when you are at the parks. I have a Canon S3 and since it will be me taking the pics, I don't want my DH carrying it. It would drive him nuts every time I needed/wanted it to have him pull it out. Anyway, I was thinking about putting it in my baggallini messenger or the overland donner bag. Any thoughts on this?

With my old digicam i used my waist pack. With my S3 i will use my camera bag that i got for it that has a shoulder strap, and a waist strap that tucks neatly in the back if i want to use the shoulder strap instead.

I have an S3, and *had* a Crumpler "x million dollar bag", but I hated it. Took it right back to REI (I ordered it sight-unseen online) and got the REI Erin City Bag. It's lightly padded and is nicer to carry than the Crumpler, in my opinion. And it has a few pockets to carry other things. The strap has quite a bit of adjustability, so I just wore it across my body, and it was right there, easy to get into, for those quick pictures.

my hands,

I'd be afraid of missing a shot if I put my camera away for just one second at WDW

I have an over-sized purse that I carry to the parks. I pad one section of it for my camera. I don't want to have to carry a purse and a camera bag to the parks. (I have the S-5)

The power button never goes off. I have the Lowepro Slingshot 200 around my back and my camera around my neck.

batteries, memory cards. lenses etc, go in my vest...

I found a travel bag I like from LLBean - the small one's 22.00 and the large ones 29.00, I got the large one first but I found to be to big ( I could put my laptop in it) I just needed something I could use as an all around bag for my wallet ect and my SLR stuff- the bag is like a big handbag has a nice pocket in front on the idea of a backpack. the bag has its own padding and has an outside net waterholder, I thought it was a good price and it comes in a few colors.
they sell it in the travel section, I belive its called a travel bag.

I agree with the hands. I usually throw the strap around my head and put one arm through as well. That takes the stress off my neck and I am ready at a moment's notice.

OK, so what do you do with it when you go on rides like Everest? I plan to keep it around my neck/shoulder the rest of the time but worry about it on rides. I have a Canon Rebel XTi.

For WDW I use a Domke F5XB. It's small but I can get my Nikon D200 with an 18-200 in it. I also carry a 50mm as well. While the camera doesn't spend much time in the bag at least it's safe on rides.

My camera is in my hand on Everest, Tower of Terror, RnR Coaster, etc. I wrap the strap around my wrist twice and hold the camera by the lens, it's not going *anywhere*!

I use a small camera that came with only a hand strap, but I found that annoying all day long, and ended up putting it in a side pocket of my purse. I missed a lot of photo ops due to putting my camera away, so this time I got a lanyward with a hook small enough for the loop on the camera (was from the 'VIP pass' I got at RnR gift shop), and it worked fantastic! I even noticed a few people checking it out as I used it.

I also hand carry my camera. I have an LLBean hip pack that an slr would fit in if necessary
