Today at gymanstics I heard a woman telling her daughter to sit on her bum...
DO you have a weird name or what do you refer to it as towards a child?

I usually say, "sit on your butt"

I try to say "rear-end", but have at times said "butt"

Even at my age, I am not "allowed" to say "butt" at my parents home without getting a look or something said.

I adore the title of this thread Shep!

We refer to it as "butt", usually.

We call it a booty, and we call our youngest "bootyhead."

I'll say, "Who's my little bootyhead?" and he'll say "Me, dad."

I have a friend who always tells her little one to sit on his bisquits.....I asked her why she called it that & her explanation was that they were too small to be buns:p

Depends on if they are sitting on it or I am kicking it..........:p

Oh that's cute! In my house we call it a tushie!

I call it a tushie too but my 13 DD and 12 DS just roll their eyes and call it a butt. Oh to be so cool at 12 and 13!!!

When the boys were little, it was hiney.

Now it's ***.

Outta here! And pleased about it, too.Of course he is 26.....

In our house, it's 'park your cute glutes' ..... short for your gluteus maximus !! Started when my daughter learned the scientific words and thought they were funny. Now it's become our family's inside joke :p

It was duppa when DS was little:D
