What do you budget for spending money?

For two of us on a ten day trip we usually spend $100-$200 if any non-Disney home decor items catch our eye, like framed prints, wood carvings, etc. We're not really the type to buy the typical souvenir stuff like trinkets and t-shirts. I did buy a pin once -- so add 10 bucks?

Now, when you say "Not counting meals" I'm going to assume you consider alcohol to be a part of the meal because I would be far too embarrassed to tell you how much we spend on that!

We budgetted $100 per adult & $150 for DS. We came in slightly under budget as DH did not buy anything. However, we went slightly over on our food budget so it evened out.

The last 3 trips, we spent under $300 for a family of 4 on a 9 day trip. We aren't much into souvenirs, most of that money was spent on tips at the TS restaurants (we had the DDP).

We average around $100/day, which includes food, as we don't do the DDP. On longer trips we spend less per day because we have a villa with groceries, on shorter trips more.

I tend to bring about $300-$400 for the week (give or take) that I am there but I almost never spend even half of it. As I've gone lots now, I really find myself not wanting or needing anything - there are only so many beach towels a girl can own! This year however I am putting a bit more aside in case I want a Dooney or Vera. I saw a Dooney Sketch wallet I really want so maybe I will treat myself!

I should really set up a fund for Mickey ice cream bars though...I don't snack much in the parks but they are my weakness!!

Past experience has required we budget $200 per day - this covers food and drink. We might spend less on us but when our DD joins us on the weekends the 'extra' is used - eh, she's work it :)

Sounds about right. We never do the DDP anymore, so food and drink are a good part of our daily expenditures. Some days less, some days more- it evens out.
