What do you bring with you to the water parks?

We are going to do both BB and TL in a few weeks and it's been years since we went to the water parks. I don't want to rent a locker, so I don't plan to bring my phone, even though that makes me feel like I am not bringing my left arm or something. :-) DH will be at a conference while I am at the water parks and it just feels strange to have no way to get in touch with him. I'm bringing sunscreen of course, towels (still trying to decide if I should pack beach towels from home or bring towels from our resort), snacks/drinks/lunch, magic bands and $20-40 in cash as back up, waterproof camera, sunglasses, water shoes and toiletries and a change of clothes (we'll be going right from the waterparks to a dinner reservation)n and a stroller to haul it all around in. Anything else I am missing? I plan on just finding a chair to stash our stuff on as a home base and then going around the park.

I wouldn't bother with the stroller - pushing it through the sand won't be fun. You're not taking that much, just throw it in a bag.

I am not sure I have ever seen anyone bring a stroller to one of the water parks. I can't imagine that would be fun...

Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on what you will need. That's pretty much exactly what we take and we also stash our stuff at a chair and lay some towels down.

We have only rented a locker once but.... If you are binging a change of clothes and want to have your phone handy maybe you should re-consider renting a small locker.... throw your phone, cash and change of cloths in there. Then you will have your phone in the park with you and you will have all of your stuff ready in the same spot where they have nice changing rooms when you are ready to leave... just an idea...

we did lockers - in hindsight i wouldn't bother.
if your onsite just bring you suncream and magic band
i locked my phone in the glove compartment

when we did typhoon lagoon we were offsite - I got one of those tiny gift cards on elastic
and loaded it with $100 - and used that for lunch / snacks
and used the rest later in the holiday.

love magic bands when on site - you need NOTHING with you ever
my wallet stayed in my room safe the whole time.

Really no stroller? And pushing it through sand? I thought the water parks were all concrete paths?

It will be me, my 9 yo and my 5 yo who can be whiny about having to walk. We're going from our resort to a breakfast ADR, to the water park to a dinner ADR. I just figured it would be easier to store all our stuff in a stroller vs carrying it around, but maybe not? I guess I'll have to do a test run and see how much it adds up to. I do have a big 31 bag I could use i guess.

The water parks do have concrete paths, but most of the seating is in sand. I cant recall a time when I saw anyone bring in a stroller though... I would have to second the suggestion of just carrying a bag in with you.

Additionally, I always bring a few quality zip lock bags into the waterparks with me. It makes it rather easy to keep sand and water off of things and if need be I can carry a few dollars around in a swimsuit pocket with out worrying about paying with soggy money. I'd imagine though that it may be more difficult for a female to do the same as most women's suits don't have a pocket.

We took our stroller to Typhoon Lagoon when my dd was 11mths old. It was fine, we just found a spot in the sand close to the walkway to camp out. We stored everything in the bottom and she was able to take a nap.

We always rent a locker when we hit the water parks. We keep our phones, shoes my cover up, boys tshirts, car keys (if we drive) and sunscreen in it. We were there this weekend it was $13, but you get $5 back when you return the key-so $8

Rental for the locker is good for both water parks. After you finish with the first park, get your deposit back. Show the receipt and pay the deposit at the other park for a new locker. Great for water park hopping.

i got mine in singapore sal's at typhoon lagoon

typhoon lagoon in disney world? no other place to get them? can they be used all over the world or just in the water parks?

We take our stroller, never crossed my mind not to. It was far from the kid area to the car, no way I was carrying my exhausted kids. I don't remember it getting stuck in the sand, maybe our chair was close to the sidewalk. I didn't bother with a locker, didn't bring any thing valuable. Your list looks good to me

its just a disney gift card - so you can use it anywhere that accepts disney gift cards ie shops, restaurants etc.
but only disney ones and i suspect only in the USA as its a dollar card.

i presume they sell them at blizzzard beach too, it would be handy if they sold them at the resorts / general gift shops and probably do.
