What do you bring to remove stains?

What is the best way to remove stains from clothes while on vacation. I will bring detergent and fabric softner, but what stain remover is recommended?

We bring those shout travel wipes. I got mine at Target.

I carry shout wipes ans a tide pen in my purse everywhere!!!! I have a three year old and feel that stains are like throwing my money down the tubes!!! I like both products and they treat most stains very well!!!

I bring a "Spray & Wash Stain Stick". It looks just like a glue stick, but larger. I don't carry it around the parks with me....just keep it in the hotel room. I treat any spots when we get back to the room. The label states that you can treat the shirt & then "wait up until a week before washing the item". This works for us because our trips are always 8 or 9 days long.

Tide to go pen is awesome. I love that pen. Its small and works like gold.

I always just put Tide on the stains right before I throw them in the wash, and it works great. I have used the Tide-to-go pen once. It didn't take the stain out immediately like it shows on the commercial, but it did come out in the wash. (choc milk)

I have used all of those (the Tide pen, the spray and wash stick and the shout wipes) and I think they are all equally as good. I don't carry any to the parks just take care of the problem when we get back to the room. Any of them shoudl work good for you. Another thing, at Walmart you can get Hanes stain resistant clothing for kids (like shirts and shorts for the summer) and those are great too. I have never had a white shirt stay so clean. Plus they are pretty cheap which is nice too!

I bring Shout wipes, plus I pack some Oxyclean in a ziplock baggie. I double bag the Oxyclean.

The absolute best thing I have used for just about every stain is "simple green". This is so powerful it will even take out stains once the item has already gone through the dryer. Spray on the surface and take a toothbrush to get it working. Works every time. ps...I too have tried all the above mentioned and although they sometimes work, Simple Green really has them beat hands down. Good Luck.
