What do refillable mugs look like?

Hi... i have a plastic type mug that was from the 25th anniversary for walt disney world....has mickey with moon and stars cap with what looks like cinderellas carraige with 25 on it and then walt disney world below it.... it does have a coca-cola emblem with the disney trademark on it as well....it looks like its an insulated mug about 5 or 6 inches high and is sparkly and has a blue handle and blue drinkable top which says caution contents might be hot......My question is: is this the refillable mug that i have often heard about on this forum or is it just another type of souvenier....also, if it is the refillable mug, can i use it when i go down to WDW next month....thanks..

Each resort has their own design of mug. The mugs are only refillable at the resort that it was purchased from. I won't go into bringing a mug back from another trip to use again. That's another whole thread.

this one is the same style as the one you have pictured except there is no resort name on it just the 25th anniversary design... just wanted to know if this is a refillable mug and if it can be refilled and where and of course, if it is allowed.... i dont want to do anything sneaky.... i know some establishments that will refill their special drink holders they sell for all future visits as well as the visit you purchased the cup from.... thanks

Refillable mugs are purchased at your resort where you are staying. Once you leave the resort, you are not supposed to reuse the mug. They are only good for the length of the stay during which you purchased the mug. This has been Disney policy for all the seven years I have been going to WDW. However, some CMs allow you to reuse a mug that you bought on an earlier stay. You are not supposed to use a mug that you bought at one resort at a different resort unless it is a sister resort, such as Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter or the All Stars resorts.

The water parks also sell refillable mugs that are good for the day you purchase them. But you can bring them back on future stays and purchase a new sticker for the day.

This a picture of the current CBR mugs we just bought on 8/21/04 and also a photo of a coconut monkey mug that you can get at the Banana Cabana at CBR with a alcoholic or non-alcoholic tropical drink for about $15.

This one is not refillable though.

I know sometimes there is a red x and sometimes the pictures are there, and I have no idea why. When I just came back to post them right now they are there. Some people say they can see them and some say they cannot. I have no idea why Safetymom. Someone on the tech board said that it has something to do with the DIS server.

The mugs are a fun souvenier. AK you can buy a large cup w/ animal lid and get free refills all day.
