What do people wear at the MVMCP???

Got my tickets for the first time ever going!!!! I am sooo excited!! What do people wear???

When I went it was a bit chilly. Lots of sweatshirts, some Disney themed, some Christmas themed and, of course, Christmas-Disney themed. Many people wore red and green clothes, jewelry or what not. And then there were a ton of people wearing nothing special at all.

Well I bought last year's Red Wool Mickey Christmas sweater on clearance at Disneyshopping and I plan on wearing that- so it should definitely be 80 degrees that night!!!!

The key thing is to dress for comfort! A fun thing that many people do is pick up a Santa hat with Disney character ears to wear to the party (DS, 7, picked out one with Stitch ears that was a bit hit!) -- they sell these all over the parks.

Everytime we go during the Christmas holiday season, we (DW, DD and myself) always wear our Disney Santa hats.

We went December 13th last year to MVMCP (went in 2001 too and it was mid 70's and beautiful all week). I wore two sweatshirts and jeans and wished I was wearing gloves and a jacket. It was so cold. It was in the mid 40's. Hopefully we'll have better luck with the weather this year as we're going the week after Thanksgiving as apposed to second week of December (it was crazy last year and chilly, so we're hoping to stumble across another good time to go).

For the past 3 years we've gone to MVMCP the week after Thanksgiving & have always had pleasant weather in the evening...nothing beyond having to wear sweatshirts (& our Mickey & Minnie santa hats ).

But, that's not to say it won't be really hot or cold enough for coats & mittens...I've heard about the whole range of temps during that time...just be ready for anything & have fun (you'll be at Disney)!!!
