What do moms wear to the Princess Tea?

I have DD's outfit all planned for the Princess Tea at the GF, but it just occured to me that I have no idea what *I* should wear, LOL!! They didn't tell me a dress code when I called, so I am assuming that anything goes, but if all the other adults are semi-dressed up, I will too.

Generally I don't pack anything dressy to Disney, so I'm in a bit of a dilemma as to what to do. My shoe choices will be limited to Keen sandals and Merrell thongs. Maybe a khaki skirt and nice-ish T?

I have decided to wear khaki pants or skirt (depending on the weather) and a nice shirt. I don't want to go too casual (jeans, etc...) because I plan to be in the pictures with my daughters who will be very formal. When are you going? Our tea is Thanksgiving morning.

That's the thing, DD will be wearing her Aurora dress, so I didn't want to look too dumpy. :)

We are going the week before Thanksgiving, on the 17th.

Phew...hadn't even thought about that. Same thing, not planning on dressing up, had heard casual is fine, but since the girls will be so fancy, I don't want to be dumpy either! We're going in 2 weeks! Can't wait!! I'm telling my girls this weekend.

When we went most moms had on sundresses or dressy type clothes - pants, colorful top etc. There was maybe one table in shorts.

The one we went to (Oct 19th) there was only one or two moms not in some type of skirt/dress. I was in a skirt but, not dressy. here is a pic of dd & I (you really can't see my clothes too well....)

Someday I may have to borrow a child so I can do this!

Thanks for the pictures! I am so excited, our "tea" is in just over 2 weeks, LOL!!!

It is so worth it when you see the look on their face!!!! :goodvibes

When we went it was mostly moms in khaki pants. There was 1 or 2 in sundresses. I was a little nervous too, but it was much more casual than I expected. The focus is totally on the little ones so no one cares much about what the adult wears. Have a great time - we sure did!

I wonder if it's different times of year? And you are right it is all about the girls! :goodvibes
I had been worried about not being dressed properly, that is the reason I noticed what the other moms were wearing. ;)
