We're staying off-site in a condo in WH for the first time. I'm wondering what types of things I'll need to buy or bring that I wouldn't need in a hotel?

So far, I've got
toilet paper
paper towels
laundry detergent
garbage bags
dishwasher soap
liquid dish soap

What else?

Thanks!

Besides your own shampoo & soap, maybe some extra icecube trays & freezer size ziploc bags. The condo probably won't have an ice machine so we just make icecubes all day long so we have them for our cooler for around the pool. Fabric sheets for dryer.

We have never needed toilet paper unless you have a favorite. Salt and pepper is something I always forget.

Foil for the BBQ, Plastic Wrap and ziploc bags to put snacks and sandwiches in for the park.

I take bottles of spices that are nearly empty so I can throw them away at the end of our stay or I will use a pill dispenser and put spices into each compartment.

If you have a small child you may want some outlet covers and a baby gate for any stairs.

Pool towels if they are not provided.

We needed TP on our last trip and had to buy some at Walgreens! I bring a mini bottle of dish detergent (in an old sample shampoo bottle), laundry soap, powdered dishwasher detergent, our own toiletries, and that's about it. The condo where we stay has lots of towels so we don't need to bring any. If we use them all, that's what the washer is for!

Everytime I go to a resort they have a different type of coffee maker and I used to buy filters to match. Try the pre filter coffee packs or bring the big open type.

The house we stayed at had plenty of linens, towels, soap and TP. There was also a roll of paper towels, a few garbage bags, some coffee filters, some dishwasher soap, some dish detergent and about half a bottle of laundry detergent. I would go to the place first and see what's there. Since we were there for two weeks we ended up buying more, but previous tenants had left ziplock bags, foil, saran wrap, etc.

I find we usually end up buying salt, pepper, sugar, condiments, coffee, tea, zip lock bags, garbage bags, foil, saran wrap, coffee filters, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, dish detergent and whatever food/snacks we want for the week. Last trip we were there for 16 days and I also bought a crock pot (which I packed up and took home with me.)
