I got 500 AM also. Those I believe are the 30X Multiplier for the Feb 13-15 promotion (post by Mar 16). The 20X promotion Feb 27-Mar 1 won't post until April 6. I've started keeping a lot more details on my spreadsheet for the offers I do.

Haven't tried Stacks yet even though it's only five minutes away. We did stop in for a late lunch/early dinner once only to find it closes at 3. We will get there eventually. Hope it's as good as everyone says it is. The Dennys near us has gone down hill and not very good anymore. It used to be our go to. Nothing like breakfast for dinner.

If that is from the 30x offer, my actual Staples miles haven't even posted yet LOL I spent $101 before tax, but my multiplier shows up at 87 miles. Wouldn't that mean I earned 3 base miles? I either thought Staples base miles were 1 mile for $20 or 1 mile for $35. Either way it doesn't add up correctly. LOL

I finally got around to reading that email. I'm happy to take 4 passes but I think I prefer the 25% discount and the 750 miles. My oldest always has a lot of extra lounge passes, so I can have those but I don't usually bother. I feel like it's a waste of a pass when you only have an hour to kill or it's a time of day that wine is not appropriate

Stacks was great,,, reasonable price,, $19.85 with Tax, for my meal and there was a lot of food. I ended up bringing home a big container that I couldn't eat. Their were 10 of us.
The staff were polite and very attentive,, lots of refill coffee and water offered.
We will be going back. Homemade jam.

I booked flights this morning using the new Expedia portal. When you try to do this it tells you you are leaving the Airmiles site. You will then need to log into your account (Airmiles) when on the Expedia portal. I was able to secure my desired flight. The 25% discount was visible off to the right of the page and you need to click on it to have it apply to your flight (for those who get that perk).

I wasn't able to add my Porter # to the reservation on the Expedia site. I was a little worried at first because I wanted to make sure I could to take advantage of Porter CC perks. I was able to add my reservation to my Porter account once I had Airline confirmation #. All the perks worked without incident.

Great part of the booking was I was able to use AM for flight, taxes and fees. I checked out without spending a single $. Not sure if that is going to affect the amount I'll get back from the 20% redemption event. Too late to change it now. Terms and conditons say something about paying for taxes and fees. Time will tell.

Overall it has been a good morning. My airmiles account is now below 1000AM.

I was just browsing hotels. Should be working but I’m a creature of habit so of course I don’t like it. It now shows everything as a per night charge instead of total and all the images are different. I knew my favourite places but now don’t recognize them. I was looking for a place I’ve stayed before but couldn’t find it. The name was different so I had to click through a bunch of them to find addresses.

Trying to think things through for Monday. If I can book my flight to FLL and use my 25% AM discount, great, I will do that. I will get AM back as part of the 20% redemption event and that will be great.

If my preferred flight isn't available or I can't use the 25% discount (I should be able to) then I will need to book direct with Porter.

Here's my thought. I could redeem for Porter E-vouchers and use those to pay for my flight when I book direct. I will miss out on the 25% AM M/C discount but the 20% back on e-vouchers is more lucrative. Are there restrictions that anyone knows about as to how many E-vouchers I can use per booking... Flight (for 2) will likely be $550-600 taxes included.

Has anyone used Porter e-vouchers before. I know others have reported only being able to use 2 methods of payment with Air Canada (ie one gift card, one credit card for balance).

I see you had success booking with the 25% discount this morning, I just wanted to mention about using e-vouchers for anyone who needs to in the future.

We bought 3x 500$ (discounted) e-gift cards from Costco online Sept. 2025. Once they arrived in my inbox, I used all 3 of them to apply $1500 worth of credit to our $1700 flights to Orlando on the porter website and piaid the balance using our Scene+ Amex. (This allowed me to cover that charge on the Amex using Scene+ points).
But so far that's 4 "different" payments we used successfully.
