what do i get with the counter service meal

i understand a combo meal..that's easy, but what about a place like pizzafari? do i just get a $5 pizza,coke and a dessert?

You get a main entree like a burger or pizza and sometimes they come with a side like in a combo meal (fries, green beans, etc. depending where you go), a dessert and a drink. I'm pretty sure you can order a large drink too.

Cosmic Rays at MK is a great choice because you can get a half chicken/rib meal that comes with mashed potatoes and green beans and you also get a dessert and drink. It's great value for the DP.

Not too sure about pizzafari since I like tusker house and flame tree better, but I think you'll get a pizza, (maybe a side salad) and dessert and drink.

Toy Story Pizza Planet In MGM (near the Muppets).
You get a plain, pepporini or veggi pizza a salad, a drink, and a real large cookie. Me and DW love the veggi pizza. Went there 2 times in Sept.

You get a side salad with your pizza at Pizza Planet in MGM and Pinnochio's Village Haus in Magic Kingdom, but no salad at Tusker House or POP food court. It's one of the wierd things about the dining plan.

It all depends on where you eat. There are the usual burger, fries, cookie & drink places. Some places you get a salad. Then there are places like Pepper Market (CSR) where you can have prime rib, grilled veggies, a baked potato, drink & dessert for a CS. Or The Tangierine Cafe (EPCOT) where you can get a lamb & chicken platter with couscous, tabbouleh, hummus, Morracan bread, drink & baklava. A great place for info is the menus on allears.net.

Probably my favorite is the Flame Tree BBQ in the animal Kingdom. Ribs or BBQ Chicken are great. Corn bread, drink and desert are included. Nice setting in the woods to eat.

This was a great CS meal. It was filling, and also it was a fun atmosphere! Cosmic Rays at MK offers a combo (chicken and ribs) that is very filling, even if you are "starving", or can be easily split between two if you are not! Generally you get a drink, dessert, and a sandwhich and fry or a little pizza and salad. Different CS restaurants offer variations. I have heard great things about AK Flame Tree BBQ, but it closed early while were there (it was 4:20 and pouring rain when the parks closed at 5:00... we got in line and after a couple of minutes they said they were closed).
