We've only been one other time to WDW and had our own stroller...what do I do with a rented one when riding the train between lands?

Thanks...we leave in a couple hours and I'm full of last minutes Q's!

Dawn

You leave your stroller at the station and pick up another one at the station you get off on.

I always ride full-circle to get my stroller back. I didn't know they had unused ones waiting. I figured I would be grabbing someone else's stroller.

SOP for strollers and the train is just to remove your stroller name-tag and all belongings (including your child) :goodvibes from your rented stroller at the departing train station, and take them with you on the train.
Then, when you arrive at any other station, just find a stroller (parked in a speacial waiting area) with no name-tag, attach your name-tag and be on your way.

There's absolutely no guarantee that there are unused strollers waiting at the Frontierland or Mickey's Toontown stations. I would suspect that the number of strollers increases as the day progresses. For example, if Mickey's Toontown Fair opens at 10:00 a.m., I wouldn't count on getting on the train at Main Street and getting off the train at Mickey's Toontown Fair at 10:15 a.m. and finding an available stroller just sitting there.

The train stations are stocked with strollers at the end of each night, that is part of the closing procedures for the conductors, just FYI, so your chances of getting a stroller replacement at 10:15AM are actually higher! You are not waiting for someone to leave one in order for you to get one, they have already waiting there.

The Toon Town Station has a very LARGE holding area for replacement strollers and is usually full (unless you are talking Christmas or New Years day), it is Frontierland that is hit or miss because it is harder for the conductor to get downstairs to get the ones that have been left during the day (not enough time between trains). Anyway, if you get off at Main Street and there are no replacement strollers you can go down and get a new one at the actual stroller rental. If you get off at Frontierland and there is not one tell the conductor and they will have one sent on the train for you (it can take 7-20 minutes depending on if they catch the train behind yours or have to wait for the one you just got off to return)...same applies for Toon Town (although it is so very rare for Toon Town to not have strollers.) If you have a double and there are only singles, you can take 2 singles and turn them in for a double at any of the stroller replacement locations throughout the park OR you can wait for the train to bring you a double. When Frontierland gets low, they call Toon Town or Main Street and ask them to send stollers around. The cast will load them on the train and have them delivered to the station, so they do try very hard to keep them stocked and are usually quite successful.
