Coke Zero. The replacement doesn't work for me.
Just like the Pepsi Zero is no comparison to Pepsi One for me. Whatever was on that one calorie, I miss it.

I can't remember the brand name, but when I grew up you could buy a tray of mini pizzas. There were three different flavors per tray; cheese, pepperoni and sausage. Four or five of each.
Loved these cookies! I think they were covered in powdered sugar. I keep looking for them in the store even though I haven't seen them for years.Cookies called Lemon Coolers put out by Sunshine I believe. My sister says the girl scouts sell a similar cookie but I never think to try it. A few years ago Walmart had a similar cookie but it disappeared from the store after I bought a few boxes.
OMG. Those were the best. There is a local donut shop that used to make powdered donuts that I have had them fill with the raspberry jelly. Tried to get one yesterday to be told they don't make them...I swear I saw them a couple weeks ago.Hostess used to make a powdered donut with rasberry.
I think it was changed a bit when it came back...very hard to find and nowhere near as good!Has this been formerly discontinued, or just harder to find? I recall seeing some recently in the store (I too am a fan, so I notice if that particular product is on the shelves)....
That's because Hostess actually went out of business (in 2012). About a year later, some other company (Apollo Global Management), purchased the "Hostess" name and products, and started selling them in 2013. They're not the same.
Whatever reason - it's not the same product.Technically it should be the successor and it could be absolutely identical. They have access to all the recipes and have production in several of the same bakeries using the same equipment, and they rehired most of the employees working there.
From what I understand, what happened was that they ordered that the recipes and techniques be altered to improve shelf life.
Whatever reason - it's not the same product.
