I have booked the romantic escape at sea package and my TA said that as a courtesy, disney will accept requests for specific dining rotation in advance so that we can book Palo's accordingly. However, I am not sure what dining rotation to ask for . I thought dining rotations were selected based on ages of kids. Ours will be 13, 8,6 and 4 at time of sailing and I would thus like the rotation to be accomodating to them, to us and to those around us. Our Ta said that since we are booked on the four-night cruise, we should simply choose either the first or last night for Palo's since we will repeat that restaurant. The only disadvantage she noted is that if we start in Animator's Palate, The show isn't repeated in that restaurant. She suggests that we might consider requesting our rotation start in either Triton's or Parrot Cay. What do you all think we should do?? I'm kind of inclined then to start in Parrot Cay as that is the restaurant I'm least inclined to eat a second time ( based on the menu I previewed) but again, my main concern is that our rotation is kid-friendly and not mainly a rotation for adults without kids.....for our sakes and theirs LOL
If you could all help with either advice or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it!!
Ps.....what time is best for Palo's?? When do they start and end serving??
THANKS !!!!
Michelle

I didn't know they allowed you to select which rotation you wanted. When we tried to select or even find out which rotation we had in January they told us we would find out on board.

I wrote our Ta as I was unsure of what night to schedule Palo's As we are newbies to a cruise, we were unsure of what restaurant to give up in lieu of our Palo's experience! Our TA said that disney, as a courtesy, would let us request a specific rotation ...although nothing I'm sure is guranteed.........
Our plan now is to start in Parrot Cay and then on our last night, reserve Palo's for a 9pm dinner.....this way, we can accompany our kids to dinner the last night on board, get them settled in the day care and then head to Palo's

i booked the romantic yesterday, and they did ask my preference for dinner rotation. We are doing pc, l, ap. We wanted to be in l for our formal night and be in pc for the tropical night. We're going to do Palo's on semi-formal night so we don't have to pack extra dress clothes.

I would NOT recommend doing Tritons the first night. We were assigned Tritons our first night and we had the early seating. The first few hours on board are a little hectic anyway and adding preparation of semi-formal clothes for Tritons was an additional challenge we could have done without!
