What did you use for your dessert party?

The bread pudding was really good! It wasn't quite what I expected (and I can't really explain why haha)....but my guests loved it!

A lot of these desserts aren't on the menus I've seen for the dessert parties. I've also been told that the menus are basically as is. Do I just have to push harder for customization? The funnel cake pudding looks great, as does the trifle--not on my menus. Any ideas.

Yes. Some planners seem more resistant to menu customization than others, maybe cuz it's a hassle to get a custom quote from Epcot's catering team. But it can be done! :thumbsup2

I attended a Tables in Wonderland dessert party and was NOT impressed with the flambé doughnut station and my DF and I decided against it for ours.

We just did our tasting last Thursday and had Epcot do the flambeed donuts and thought they were fabulous. We added them to our menu on the spot. We served ours with vanilla ice cream instead of the coffee gelato.

Here is a photo of them preparing it in the Epcot kitchen.

Anyone has pictures of this Funnel Cake Bread Pudding I keep hearing about? I wonder if I can try it during our dessert part for our planning session.

We plan to have ZEBRA DOMES!! Funnel cake, brownies, make your ice cream sundae with all the toppings or make your own floats and peanut butter chocolate squares.

Vanessa - we asked for the funnel cake pudding at our tasting and didn't get it. They have to make a pan of it to get it to work and don't do it for a tasting. At that point we were in love with the donuts, so it didn't affect us too much. :rotfl:
